First off I would like to say thanks to BL for all of the information I was able to find here to help me to 1) find where I stand based off my symptoms and 2) find some things that I can do to make the easing up process easier.
Starting on March 1st, I decided I wanted to be clean by my birthday which was a couple weeks ago. I dropped methadone, Oxycontin, Vicodin, Xanax...plus the occasional coke, ecstasy, and roxy. The withdrawals definitely sucked mainly due to the crappy feeling, occasional hallucination (which I knew when it was happening so it wasn't too bad), and a "I'm in a dream" feeling. I also began easing up off Adderall because dropping that was more difficult since I was doing it much longer than the rest. I AM NO ENCOURAGING THE FOLLOWING, JUST MENTIONING. I found that smoking a little bit of weed relieved some of the symptoms of quitting. Since it isn't addictive, I only did it till the symptoms were over then I dropped it.
I actually just dropped Adderall this past Friday and...whew, everyone was annoying, I was tired and angry, and completely unmotivated and stressed until Tuesday where I was able to overcome the withdrawals.
I was able to do all of this on my own and if you need any help with anything, know someone who does, or just want to know where to start, feel free to PM me. I will not be here as often as I was, but I will definitely log in every now and then to voice my opinion and throw out assistance where it is needed.
PS: This is the right thread, right? haha
