Not sure if this is the right thread for this but....does anyone have experiance w coming off subs. & im talking long-term use....16mgs a day for 4 years. I hear some people say theres no wds but I know that w that dose & length of time its just false....dont care who says its true bc theres no way. Ive had people tell me its just as hard as methadone. Really its my bf. Hes been on my ass about coming off meth...i have gone down from 160 to 35 where he has done nothing,he cant even cut out 1/2 a strip a day(thats how he takes them...4 1/2 strips/day. Everyday i hear how im not going quick enough but i was at 160 in april so i feel he has NO room to talk....esp since he hasnt gone down. I went from 40mgs to 35mgs like 10 days ago but he wants me down another 5 now. I havnt worked this hard to stay clean to blow it. Yes i wake up sick in the am & he seems to think just go cold turkey at 35. I told him hes crazy,its not the same thing. Weve been together for a while, live together, basically have a life together & i love him but i will break up w him if he gives me an ultimatuim. Anyways i know i kinda went off topic but if anyone has any ideas for any of these things,please let me know. God my parents dont even want me going down that fast & i put them through hell & theyve seen the change & i think are scared to death ill go back. My dads like "see what he thinks when you start stealing from him , lying....ect. Anyways thanks
