Opioids Coming off methadone with dope subs and tramadol

been on meth clinic for about 2 months and want off. im down to 55 mg. i plan on tomorow being my last dose and we also get a take home bottle. So here is what i am working with and trying to figure out smartest way to kick it..............Ill have the 55 mg take home of meth, i have 60 50 mg tramadol , 5 8mg suboxone, and about 12 bags of dope................Anyone have an idea ? heres my diff ones

1 i was thinkin just take all the methadone tmrw (110 mg) which is saturday so ill be done with it .............then do about 4 bags of dope each day sunday monday and tuesday , then i will have enough time off the methadone to take a suboxone...........use the 5 suboxone for a week or so.............then use tramadol after to finally get clean....................

2. take the 55 mg dose i have to in order to get the 55 mg take home dose tmrw..............(sat) save the take home dose,,,,,,,,,,,use the dope sunday and monday , tuesday start the suboxone and use them about a week, then either use the tramadol or the 55 mg take home i saved (just take like 10 mg a day for a few days)

i cant decide............
 
thats gonna take some willpower man. 4 bags of dope could easily lead to "just one more"... But good luck!

Also I would definitely not go with option two... that 10mg of methadone a day for just a little bit could fuck you over bad as far as w/ds go..
 
So you would say best to get rid of the methadone , do the dope a few days , then start the sub , then use tramadol if needed ?
 
Forget the dope, get the subs, and use This Chart to figure out when its safe to start taking suboxone. Use the physicians advice and wait until you score at least a 15 otherwise your day will only get much worse, not better. If you do it right than i don't see why tramadol should be needed.

Its a figure of speech, im pretty sure he meant this topic has been covered a number of times (and is more suited for one of the two mega threads).

Don't be surprised if it gets merged. ;)

Edit: sorry i didn't notice this part, but i would strongly suggest getting a suboxone prescription. You aren't going to be able to taper off of methadone using all these different drugs. Im sorry but it just isn't going to happen and by the time you run out of everything you will either be back on heroin or back on methadone. Suboxone scrip is far superior of a choice. (in my opinion)

if you plan on quitting dope, then why have dope in the first place? I'm confused. I know you are heavily addicted throughout reading your BL posts, and while I don't think you will be able to throw the dope away - I think that you doing the dope is just going to make you keep on doing the dope (not stopping), or just pick the dope right back up when the subs and tramadols run out
 
NO i want off the methadone clinic and i have 5 subs i wanna use to kick , but i gotta get thru the 72 hours or so with no meth b4 i can take the subs.............so i was just gonna use the D to get thru those days
 
man the thing is, I would just suffer two days without a dose. I mean that way the bupe is gonna do it's job and give you significant relief. If you can afford it try and get on a bupe program for a while. Coming off that, while still difficult, is going to feel like a breeze compared to severe withdrawal from methadone...

And also, the tramadol will come in handy with the bupe w/d, just make sure you don't get hooked on them because it can happen...

Heroin wont avoid having to wait until you score high enough on the COWS, you will inevitably have to withdraw for a couple days before making the switch. Furthermore, 5 subs is not going to be enough to use to get off of methadone. Im sorry but i just don't see this working. :(

If bupe prescription isn't possible then sadly i would say stay on methadone and work towards tapering, albeit extremely slowly. Maybe using kratom to help speed up the process.
