Hey guys it's been 40 days since my last shot, and I'm getting worse. I started tapering zoloft about 2 weeks ago because I want to start Parnate to hopefully improve my mood and ease the blank mind. My prefrontal cortex feels separated from the back half of my brain and I feel lobotomized. Mood has been getting worse and hopelessness persists. I feel no connection to my family or life in general, life has been hell and these 40 days have felt like an eternity. I had some insight and realized today that I had depression even before starting all these evil meds, so it's especially isolating being on this shit. Please pray for me.

bro i feel so blank cant connect w anything. im hoping parnate will help
Bro your way to early to feel anything. Don’t throw anything at your brain honestly. It needs to heal. Unless it’s a supplement or drug that affects the brain in the exact opposite way of the injections. 1 month off nobody has had any changes. I’m 5 months off only a 10mg haldol injection and feel what I did 5 months off 234mg invega which is nothing at all.

HOW TF IS A 10MG HALDOL SHORT ACTING INJECTION EFFECTING ME AS LONG AS A 234MG INVEGA INJECTION DID!!?? MAKES NO SENSE

You need a slower taper than that, or you need to wait until invega is out of your system and you're recovering from it. If you don't taper slowly enough you can get PSSD like me. Invega is still in your system and it is probably interfering with the upregulation of serotonin receptors that you need to make a clean recovery from an SSRI. Once the effects of invega were mostly gone, my PSSD recovery really took off, especially in the emotional aspect.

are you sure its 10 mg? for me i got injected with 5 but it was really 150 mg cuz its 5mg per day x 30 , so in ur case u actually got hit with 300 mg of haldol

Yes, I got my emotions back. The recovery happened slower than I would've liked, but they did come back. If you have any other questions let me know
Did you lose your sense of self. It's like im just awareness with no thoughts. Don't even feel dumb literally have an absense of higher functioning its just blank. Did you experience this and recover?

Its like intense derealization combined with loss of feeling
This is a big red flag, you're in SSRI withdrawl, the kind that leads to PSSD. I had intense dp/dr for months. You need to switch to a different SSRI or ask a psychiatrist if busiprone will prevent the withdrawl of Zoloft. I think maybe you should stay on the SSRI until you are free from the effects of invega, and then you need to taper off very very slowly. You can't upregulate serotonin receptors while invega sustenna is still in your system. SSRIs decrease the number of serotonin receptors you have when you're on them, so does invega.

Please ask for busiprone/buspar. I wish I had stayed on the busiprone I was given, but I wasn't aware it would've stopped my withdrawl from Prozac. Write it down, ask a psychiatrist. Try cross-tapering to St. John's Wort if you don't want another SSRI.

Even if you do get PSSD/post-SSRI syndrome, trust me, it can get better and you can get yourself back, or at least most of you.

you ever feel like chest anxiety on invega?

I keep forgetting to say I got my period only two weeks late instead of a month late. I hope I'm regulating.
