@Rosi71 : I am really happy for you after I saw Baylissa's video. It means, there's still hope! 3 years it took for her while everyone said 3 months. You'll get through this!!
The sixth video is also super encouraging!!

To the room :
Day 130

I had about two or three windows already throughout the recovery process.
The previous two days I had an overwhelming feeling of guilt which I thought was unrelated to Invega but this crap never stops surprising me in a bad way. And today I had a deep feeling of sadness.
@invegauser : Do you think it is a good sign to experience that?
All these feelings lasted a couple of hours and I had some of the saddest thoughts one can have.

Quick advice: for those who are working or just filling their time with activities. You may want to sleep everytime you feel tired. I tried not taking a nap on tuesday, a nap that I take almost on a daily basis. My sleep at night was really bad just like my energy level the following day.

Hey guys PLEASE I NEED HELP please inform me as many of you as possible i have been off invega sustenna for 3 years, a lil over 3 years i still have these symptomes death fears, whining attacks , nerve pain and and ...... i take seroquel and zopiclon to overcome these terrible symptoms it just helps a bit... now my quewstion will i be able to fully recover even if i take other meds.? i cant go on living without these other meds.... i cant livel like this 3 years without the other meds that little portect the side effects invega made... dr ann blake tracy tolde me to get OFF ALL DRUGS to be able to recover...to be able the drug flushing out of my body..... a pharmacist told me i can take these other drugs without any harm.... without bothering each other to leave the system...seroquel works on serotonin, zopiclone on benzodiazepine receptors ....
DID SHE TAKE ANY OTHER MEDS? THIS GIRL WHO RECOVERED IN 3 years`? everyone is saying something differently about me taking other drugs to overcome it pls I NEED HELP ITS HORRIBLE I ALMOST CANT IVE LIKE THIS thakn you guys

Hey @Tina3000 My personal opinion is that it is not possible to overcome these symptoms while taking other "medicine". They all work on the same receptors and as you already noticed, you just can't tolerate these kind of drugs that leave you with such terrible symptoms. Seroquel is an atypical AP just like Invega, so you will have similar symptoms with it. It is really difficult for the brain to have a break like that. It needs to be calm.

For how long have you been taking Seroquel and Zopiclon now?

The girl who recovered in 3 years has not taken any other meds. She coped with these symptoms without any other meds.

@ Yeshuah....... i have been taking it for almost 1 year before that i have taken 2 years zopiclone without any ohter antipschotic.

GUYS we cant be too happy about Bellissas recovery she recovered from BEnzos NOT invega ...TWO DIFFERNT THINGS

@Tina3000 : I was prescribed Seroquel 600 mg daily. And it feels a lot different from Invega. I think what you experience is still the withdrawal from Invega.

@Tina3000 Yes there are many in this forum who recovered successfully from Invega Sustenna. I don't think that your suffering is still the cause of Invega as it should have left your body long ago. To be sure, just make a blood test to prove it and tell us if there's still Invega left in your blood. 1 year of Seroquel is just a really long time. And if you go on with it I wouldn't expect a recovery. Only when you're off of the drug full recovery is possible also for you. But it will take a long time for you brain to adjust to its normal chemistry as you have taken it since a year now. As it is not doing really much to your "symptoms" I would recommend to taper it off. 400mg will take years as you're on a really high dose of Seroquel and you need to tapper slowly. Your doctors won't tell you this, as they have no clue how tappering off works. 2 years Zopiclone is also a really really long time... Your nervous system is being attacked by these meds on and on. It needs a break. I recommend you to make a post on "adfd.org" where you already have an account. They will help you tapper it off.

Thank you guys....:) i am SURE that i still experience invega sustenna....but theres seroquel and zopiclone still helping me from invegas effects...i am afraid to put seroquel and zopiclone completely away...what do you thingk

INvega is not in my blood anymore but it still affects me as hell well as i said i alwyys took seroquel and zop with invega... i cant get off seroquel and zop cause i couldnt deal with invegas effects...

There are so many different opinions one doctor told me its okay to take serouqel and zop it wont stop me from getting off invega...

It is your choice if you want to continue taking it. In my opinion the nervous system is not able to recover as long as you take other drugs. 400mg is a high dose and the brain is not able to recover partly because it's still being attacked. Maybe you're left with Invega symptoms, but they are not actively taking part in the symptoms. It's because it has not got the chance to heal from it because you started with another drug. So the brain wasn't able to adjust to its prior chemistry. It's like you stopped the recovery and are left with the same symptoms due to taking another similar drug which works on the same receptors. It doesn't matter if it has the excact same effect or not. The main thing is that it hasn't got the chance to reverse the effects of Invega. You cannot solve an issue caused by a drug by taking other drugs. It is not just an opinion. I have read many stories and realised that the people who took other drugs to reduce a symptom of a drug were left with the same problems or have got new problems.

@Tina3000 : do what you feel is best. Just know the p-docs do not always have the empathy to tell how harmful to the brain these drugs are and give them like candies.

I just cannot believe how people can still trust so called "doctors" when they have caused these horrible effects in the first place. You must think logically. The body has to focus on getting rid of more substances so it takes more energy and time for the body to 1. get rid of the first drug 2. reverse the effects of all the drugs. The doctors lied to you in the first place, how can you expect them to tell you the truth now?

@dellad
As you navigate your way and take care of yourself, please choose what you accept as your truth. Don’t rely on validation from anyone but yourself. Try not to get flustered if friends or family members allude to their being something else wrong or that what you are experiencing is due to the return of an ‘underlying condition’. Be careful with the opinions and subjective advice of others online and think carefully before you act on suggestions from people who may not fully understand the process.

Remind yourself that what is happening is not coincidental and that thousands of people are experiencing symptoms similar to yours, that emerged at the time of coming off the drug (or while in tolerance). Remember this always. Allow any existing rumination and thoughts. Don’t resist or struggle against them but just don’t believe them.

Remember, this is a healing process that leads to your recovery. Know that you will cope with whatever the day brings. You always find the strength and just like you got through yesterday, you will make it through today too. Validate your feelings and find ways to soothe and care for yourself. Continue to be strong, patient and accepting and wait it out. This is all you need to do. You can and will heal.

Baylissa

@shadypenguin Don't focus on the worst case scenarios, it is scary, but you never know if they were maybe on drugs through years before or after Invega or maybe still are and still accuse Invega for their memory loss because it's the last thing they can remember on how they lost their memory. I read about a lot of people who say that they still have problems and still take these kinds of drugs. I just can't understand how they can expect to heal while they still encumber their brain with chemical stuff. Your memory can heal. Baylissa also had memory loss for 3 years and healed completely.

@Hypocondryack I think you're in the wrong place here. I don't know what you expect from being here. Stop accusing people for being like they are right now. You never know what is underneath their suffering. Everyone deserves to be in this forum as long as they share their story without being mean to each other just like you are. I will report you post because it is not appropriate.

@Steph Is your memory back 100%?

@dellad The reason why they use this to get people out of prison is because people will remain in prison, but in their own body. It's as simple as that and it is scandalous. I would personally prefer being in prison for months than being like this..

I've noticed some sketchiness in my memory. Example, b n the middle of thinking something and poof completely 100% gone. Also, it's kinda like the messages/signals my body send is delayed maybe. That ones hard for me to explain. IDK y I didn't connect invega to that.
