It leaves your system slowly that’s why it takes so long to recover let’s say you have 40ng ml of paliparadone in your system and the half life is 45 days (Invega has multiple half lives) after 1 half life youre at 20ng ml another 45 days later youre at 10ng ml (half life 2) half life 3= 5ng ml half life 4 = 2.5ng ml half life 5 =1.25ng ml once it gets below one I think the paliparadone is ineffective but you might still have some adjusting your brain needs to do so you might not feel fully recovered yet I’ve taken blood tests for paliparadone and rn I’m at 2.3ng ml I think by the middle of March I’ll be below 1ng ml.
But Ive already taken the injection hasnt it already been released, why is it still being released after stopping the injection?

It’s not an instant release if 234mg of paliparadone were to be released all at once you would die from paliparadone overdose it’s stored in the muscle and released over time 2 to 4 mg is usually released per day could be more could be less.

If I don't feel akathisia anymore, is it a sign that most if not all the Paliperidone is out of my system?
I'm almost 6 months off, I believe all of it should be out already.

Everyone metabolizes it differently for me personally the half life is like 45 days it could be longer if you have a slower metabolism though you should get a blood test for it to see how much is left if it’s all out your brain is just re adjusting to homeostasis (withdrawal)

My metabolism is super fast, at least it was before the injections. No matter how much I eat, I hardly gain fat. I'm skinny too btw.

You’re probably dealing with withdrawal my metabolism is also super fast so with us it’s not as slow as a taper as most people considering you got 7-8 shots and I only had 2 you’re definitely having a harder time then I am withdrawal from paliparadone can last several months but it will subside it’s subsided for the most part for me.

I don't know if I have withdrawal, it's just the side effects that are still there.
If I would got only 2 shots, it probably would be a lot different and easier for me right now.

What do you guys think about risperidal (risperidone)?
I was forced to take a few shots of risperidone when I was in the state hospital under judge's order. I didn't find out until later that risperidone metabolizes into paliperidone. The side effects I got were almost identical to that of invega.

The risperdal pills were a little different and the side effects were there but not as bad. I've been on the max dose of abilify pills for over 12 years and have had virtually zero side effects. This all leads me to believe that it's the injectable form of these drugs that is so debilitating. I've heard abilify injections are pretty bad as well but the pills may not be anything like the injections. No, I've never been injected with invega but by reading these threads, I had most of the same side effects it just didn't take as long for them to go away as invega.

If you've already been injected with invega, I would probably not want to take risperidone or any other long acting injectables as they all seem to treat people like shit.

Is there any reason you can't get your meds in pill form?

That's weird, because I've been on Abilify pills too, but for a short time, around 2 - 3 weeks and it caused me severe akathisia, I couldn't sit still, always had to take a walk.
Another side effect from Abilify for me was increased saliva secretion, especially when talking.
It's weird that you said you had zero side effects from it. Well, I guess everyone is different and reacting differently.

The difference between 2 or 3 shots is huge, the 3th shot is what fucked me up most
I had 7 or 8, that's a ton of difference.
@Merek had only 2, no wonder he is recovering faster.
That's a big enough proof that it does matter the amount of injections you get.
Someone here, long time ago said that the only thing that matter is the time since the last injection, which turns out to be false.

Abilify injections are worse . Abilify pills also gave me akathesia but never gave me other side effects. Injections gave me worse depresssion and anhedoni@ than invega

Did you recover from the injections while taking pills?

That is not only reason, damage and deformations it does/creates also takes time to recover.

I’m really afraid I’m Jesus and I let God down. God is a quantum computer scientist and I’m his only son, able to feel, hear and see his Creations.

I’m afraid of what comes after death. Oh God, oh God, please, please help me.

I’ve been having “coincidences” and I’m afraid to tell what they are. Someone is looking out for me.. but I may have decided to do the wrong things… I wonder if it was God and his angels looking out for me. I wonder if I didn’t screw it all up. Sorry guys.

Yeah I agree the thing is when you take let’s say 234 and 156mg of paliparadone you get 40ng ml of it in your blood a month later it drops down to 30ng ml but you take another injection let’s say max dose you get another 27ng ml or something added to it and the more shots you get the more builds up in your system so actually maybe there’s still a lot of invega in your system and the withdrawals haven’t even started yet.

I mentioned that the brain needs some adjusting to do it has to adjust and repair it’s self from the damage that’s what I meant.

Yeah I understand that Merek, Im just trying to say it was already releasing during the course of the treatment, is it still release even after stopping it? Cause I use to be on 100mg, so thats 4mg a day you say. divide that by 4 thats 25 (25 days) after stopping it what is there to release? it should finish releasing righ? Do you get what im trying to say or isnt that how it works

Don't worry you didn't let god down, just speak to your doctor.

My dreams are mostly a nightmares or mixes of what happened to me or what I seen. But I am not complaining. What I dream it not important to me. I sometimes try to fallback to sleep after I have a nightmare to see what happens next and sometimes it continues.
You are just fighting off bad spirits in your dreams! I sometimes have nightmares too
