Stimulants Coming off a week of meth use advice?

I don't get crystal cock like most people. Like, right as I push off and feel the rush if I look in the mirror I can watch Tricomb JR shrink up for like five minutes and then it acts like Viagra, and I can't keep it down.

The main cause of meth mouth is how dry methamphetamine makes your mouth, combined with the lifestyle issues that affect some, but not all, abusers of methamphetamine (poor hygiene, poor sugary diet, poor exercise).

Penguin hit the nail on the head pretty much.

yes. pretty much. thank you for re-wording my post for um...emphasis? and your approval warms the cockles of my heart.

And cut your fingernails as short as u can get them so you dont pick yourself to pieces like i have done many times, in fact just pull your nails off it'll be worth it in the long run!

Yep my hands and feet have been known to turn grey/blue many times, never my little soldier though haha that's pretty funny.

...I was not rewording your post. The OP asked about meth mouth and is entitled to more than one answer.

@Crystal Mountain I am glad it went okay, did you look into Chelated Magnesium? It makes a significant difference. I tried it for the first time recently and it made methamphetamine feel like a MUCH cleaner drug.

I was, and am amazed. I've been missing out for YEARS!

I'm a veteran of several at least seven day stints. It was harsh, the first time I came of meth for a week. It was much easier, nothing to write about, for the amphetamines, earlier in life. But you learn to deal with it. Try to get back to normal. Exercise after you, drink, eat, and sleep. Seriously. Smoking cigs seems to help a little. Pot can help a lot, depending on the person. Benzos are excellent remedies, if you can find them, but they are highly addictive as well. Alcohol, IME, and contrary to what some will claim, helps quite a bit, though I must stress the importance of not overdoing it.

In three days, at most, will have you feeling on your feet.

For me, benzos, alcohol, and some cannabis are what get me through, if I do stimulants. But I've quit them for a long time.

Oh, and the greyness? I'm not a doctor, but I think I can say that that's probably caused by extended vasoconstriction and its effect on surface tissue appearance. When you get excited or happy, or even angry, anything intense, the veins dilate, and the blood red shows through again. It should go away after a rest period.

I completely agree with your vasoconstriction theory, it would also explain the ice cold extremities. What i cant agree with however is the benefit of any alcoholic consumption on a crash, it just makes it all the more awful for me! With a pounding dehydrated headache and aching kidneys the last thing i want is alcohol, makes me shudder just thinking about it. Loads of decent food, loads of decent weed, and like you said Benzos if you can get them.

The effects on certain neurotransmitters afforded by alcohol, at least to me, were quite advantageous. Obviously I hydrated first, and I don't drink just to get a drunk going when doing this. I drink for the sedative effects it provides and for the perhaps paradoxical easing of stimulant withdrawal that I've experienced.

Even a few beer or a couple glasses of wine will help. They work similarly to benzos, but not as well or as focused.

Also, yeah, that's the cold extremities bit too, vasoconstriction. Vitamin B's, B12 in particular, are helpful for this issue, IIRC.

^I agree, alcohol is the last thing I'd want but aside from that, the most effective chemical for a stimulant comedown is probably a benzodiazepine, depending on the severity of the comedown.

I'll say it again just because it deserves it CHELATED MAGNESIUM, yes it must be chelated

Not for me im afraid, everyone's different i guess. But even just one beer would make my head feel like it was gonna explode. As for the sedative effects of alcohol, i only ever found it sedating if i got absolutely battered, otherwise it'd put me out initially but a couple hours later I'd be awake feeling shitty and unable to get back to sleep. Whatever works for you though dude, fair play. I'll stick to rolling a fat one and munching tyrosine rich food.

Just out of interest what is 'chilated' magnesium? Im assuming its obviously different to regular magnesium supplements?

I suppose sedative was the wrong word; more the effect on mental agitation, and restless anxiety. I don't use it for the sleep, it makes the sleep worse, true. But I'm perhaps somewhat biased towards alcohol, because I've been on high doses of benzodiazepines for a good 5-6 years and just having a few drinks will definitely potentiate their effects, so that's likely why it helps me a lot. Still, even without benzos, it's proved of some assistance. I understand if you're too dehydrated, aching in the kidneys, or stomach sick; but I don't understand, at least for me, not using alcohol as a tool during stim crashes. That said, almost everyone I know, online and IRL, agrees with you good folk, alcohol sucks on the comedown.

I'm also diagnosed with anxiety, so the anxiolytic effects provided by the alcohol works wonders on the agitation and near panic I've experienced from severe stim crashes.

Benzos, most assuredly, will ease far more than alcohol, so I suppose if someone is somewhat susceptible to either enjoying or reaching the similar GABA effects afforded from alcohol, and able to stomach it, then you'll get benefit from alcohol. Otherwise, negatives outweigh positives, as you must experience.

Tricomb, is the chelated magnesium's assistance related to its effect on "tolerance"? Curious...

Edit: I am reading through the link, though.
