Coming off 600mg pregabalin every other day

Hello everyone. As the title says I've been using pregabalin every other day for about 5 months at 600mg. My question is do I need to taper this and what can I expect if I do and don't taper?

Also I find pregabalin a lot more addictive than gabapentin, should I switch to gabapentin first and then taper off of that instead?

Yup you need a taper lyrica wd is no joke. I think you could taper using just lyrica fine. Go slow though

Problem is I compulsively use pregabalin like it's alcohol, so I don't know that I can regulate my dosage, whilst gabapentin gives me no euphoric effects whatsoever.

Well in that case taper with gaba. It substitutes for lyrica in my experience
