coming down off speed

so i know when you combine heroin or opiates for that matter its a so called speedball when your on speed. i heard it sends mixed signals to your brain and can cause palpitations and all kinds of weird heart rythms.

i was wondering if popping a benzo while coming down is alright? im talkin like 1mg of xanax or something. i just took one and am feeling a lot better but want to know how safe this combination is? isnt it true for cocaine and meth Od's that they give u some kind of downer to slow down the body?

any other safe alternatives to coming down...pot?

yes when comming down from stimulants it is safe to take a benzo, or smoke some weed...no risks there.

yea but ALL opiates will cause a negative reaction? even the prescribed ones like percocet and vicodin? i know that speedball is usually referred to heroin+coke but i was wondering if such small a dose of vicodin would be concidered that when ur on/coming off of dexedrine(adderall)

I've tried benzos, pot, opiates and GBL for come downs off speed
My experiances:

Benzos= They don't get rid of icky feeling very well but at least help you sleep.

Pot= Ew... I get waaaay too paranoid after a night of speed when I take that. Much too anxious for me.

GBL=My personal fav because it gets rid of a lot of the nasty "everything sucks" feeling of the speed, in addition, it helps you eat something and sleep.. Although G sleep only lasts about 5 hours, but that is often all I'm able to have time to get anyways after all nighters.

Opiates= I get a little too sick and bitchy with this combo, but it does take the edge off.

Edit: Forgot to mention something important here: If you're trying to come down off speed and H.. don't mix G with the H. Bad bad bad. Also, benzos and H are an iffy combo as well, I think they tend to enhance eachother a lot and you have to be cautious when dosing.

Valium goes well on the comedown of most things in my view, I wouldnt do temaz again though, it made my head too foggy.

As for GBL, that seemed to go well with speed in my view, but be careful you dont over dose, its very very easy to do.

Very, very true.. It's easy to OD on GBL.. I notice because of this very few people I've seen like to use it responsibly. I think this is one of the things that gives it a bad rep because people take 5 ml go out in public and then well, what's someone going to think when they see someone passed out for 6 hours? I find 1.5 ml is adequate for most people on average... It's very sensitive. If you don't hit the sweetspot you'll just drool and fall asleep so don't expect to enjoy it. Off the subject, but yeh. I wish people would be a little more responsible with their dosing of such things.

Yeah, to be absotuley safe, you should avoid combining ANY opiate with speed...even prescribed ones (not like there is a difference really!). When you aren't feeling the effects of the speed anymore it's much safer to take an opiate --- just keep that in mind, if you do combine them.

Benzos are fine. They do not send conflicting messages to the heart as with opiates. In fact if you OD'ed on speed they would most likley shoot you up with a benzo in the ER.

Being a regular meth user I need a depressant always towards at the end of a binge. It a necessity for me to ease the mind. Herion or Benzos are normally taken, or GHB/1-4Bd. Just be careful not to over do it your usually fairly worn out at the end of a binge and Herion in particular can lead to overdose, especially when combined with alcohol and/or benzos. I know from experience. I wouldn't say a Valium or two on a comedown is detrimental to your health, i believe its benefical for your mental stability.
