COMBO-xanax + ritalin

Sup everyone. I was hoping on getting fucked up tonight, as usual, but instead of the usual weed i bought some pills instead. I bought 15 ritalins (15mg), and 2 xanax bars. I guess there 2 mg's, there white, split into four sections. I started off with 60 mg ritalin, as I've never done it before and checked the boared and found that was a good starting dose. 1 hr later...nothing. I decided to take the other 11. That was about an hour ago, and i've been speeding for about 30 min, not that intense though. Anyways..my question: Would it be dangerous to mix 1mg of xaxax with the 225mg of ritalin i have in my system? What if i have a beer or 2 with the ritalin? thanx peeps

-Ya' gotta love that stuff.. I must say.. 225mg of ritalin, thats alot. When I take a 54mg Concerta (time released ritalin durrr) and break it up and chop it around a bit befor parachuting it the effects feel similiar to a nervouse breakdown. And thats from way way less than 225.. Anxiety, racing thoughts, SPEEDING, nervouse tension, cig-cravings blah blah blah... so yea, what ayrios said, expect to feel like shit pretty soon
 
BTW, make sure you definitly post a follow up of this experience..heh..I can only imagine what your going through right now.. esp if you actually took the xanax as well...oh well
 
yeah im starting to feel like shit now....anxiety, racing heart beat, abit shaky. Anyway, its making those xanax look even better now. Does anyone know if its safe?
 
You want to know what I feel like? Have you ever been rear ended? I've been 2x's, and it scares the shit out of me, and usually takes 20 min for my heart beat to go back to normal. Thats how I feel now. I feel alittle spaced out too, and my stomach is upset.
 
Im taking a wild guess here, but If you take the xanax (1 bar maybe?) it should help you out with alot of the ill affects, like the nervousness and what not afterall it is an antianxiety drug, I dont think it would be bad for you, though I must say 225mg of Ritalin is definately not the smartest move. Take a shower, eat your xanax and try to lie down. Good luck
 
Yeah this was definatly not the smarest move. Heh not even smart period and im not even going to ask why you did it but eat your xanax and take a nap so you can feel worse when you wake up.
 
Its the next day now. My Experience:
It took about 30 min for the ritalin to kick in. 15 min later, i was really feeling it. Felt great-europhoric, speedy-but only for about 90 min. Then there was a period, 20 min or so, that I felt normal. Then the come down. Felt like SHIT for about 2 hours, until I ate 1/4 of a bar. That killed the anxiety and I felt normal again. Went to sleep an hour after the xaxax. Woke up feeling normal. Would I do it again? Hell no. The comedown sux and the high doesnt last long enough. Stimulants are out for me. Im stickin w/the weed!
 
Sort of related to your post, but not exactly,
I find mixing stims like ritalin, adderall, with a benzo, to mix just great. From what I read on other message boards, it seems that a lot of people get prescribed..lets say Adderall for their "ADD" along with Klonopin for their anxiety. Maybe its not common, but there are sure plenty of posts especially on newsgroups of people saying their doctor gave them both. As for safety? I am not sure.. Benzo's and stims work on different receptors, its not as simple as "upper" or "downer", all i know is mixing both (but not THAT much ritalin! reasonable doses) works damn great for me, recreationally or otherwise, never felt any bad symptoms from mixing the two, seem to work together nicely (the adderall will give me the focus, while at the same time the benzo will kill any *if any* anxiety and make me feel relaxed and some reduced inhibitions)
 
Taking that much Ritalin was absoultely not a very wise move, but either way I'm glad you're okay and hope you learned not to do that again.
