Misc Combining DXM with Propylhexedrine (Benzedrex)

This is completely out of curiosity. I'm not some kid just looking to get high on whatever I can, nor am I strung out, or anything like that. Simply curious about combining two OTC drugs that I find to be fascinating. Dextromethorphan and propylhexedrine. The thought of being able to possibly buy a seriously fantastic high from my local drugstore for <$10 really peaks my curiosity.

I enjoy 100-300mg DXM on occasions for a little fun, however the sedation and dis-coordination annoy me. I finally tried Propylhexedrine for the first time yesterday (found inside a Benzedrex inhaler) and was impressed with it's effects. What I have here are two OTC drugs that both produce fantastic highs, and I feel that together these highs could work together and feel awesome, almost MDMA like.

The psychedelic, euphoric and intoxicating feelings of the DXM mixed with the stimulation, wakefulness and euphoria of the propylhexedrine sounds just lovely. Both substances greatly enhance music, and together, they sound like they could produce an absolutely fantastic high.

However I've read in a few places that these two could be dangerous together. There isn't much info about the combo on the net so I figured I'd ask. Why is this such a dangerous combo?
 
This combination is NO GOOD. I'm also fascinated by the mystique and badassery of getting high legally for cheap from the drug store, but this isn't the way to go. The side-effects on the heart would be very rough and uncomfortable. I wouldn't even want to combine caffeine with DXM, and propylhexedrine would be way worse. I've never tried the combo, but I think I know the two well enough to pass judgment here.
 
either drug carries the risk of hypertensive crisis (including heart attack and stroke) and the risk overheating or dehydrating; combined the risks are even higher. propylhexedrine causes strong vasoconstriction also, upping the risk of blood pressure issues.

there was a bluelighter who went to the ER from combining dxm and ephedrine. this combination would be very similar. I've had a few great times on low doses of dxm + propylhexedrine, but the risk is no longer worth the reward for me.

heart attack, stroke, psychosis, BAD trips, serotonin syndrome, dangerously high blood pressure, the list goes on...

this combo may not be the smartest...

Heh, thanks. Maybe it's the fact that I'm actually not a kid, but a responsible adult.....with a lot of curiosity. :)

Well, let's call 'responsible' a relative word. After all, I am buying an inhaler from Walgreens to pull it apart and get high off it, however, I'm being as smart about it as possible. :p

I think I've done that for the first and last time. Was just a simple curiosity. It fascinated me that there was a drug nearly as powerful as methamphetamine available over the counter at the drug store, and now that I've verified and experienced it myself, I'm satisfied.
