Ok first off I'm not sure about this thread but if anyone knows what I'm talking about and if there is any sort of ratio or guide when combining CNS depressants I'd appreciate the info...

So my question is when combing CNS depressants in moderate-high doses I know that you obviously don't take the normal amount of each drug you would as it will land you in the ER or the morgue. So does anyone have a ratio or guide for combining CNS depressants?

This is completely made up and off the top of my head, so dont use this literally.
but For example:
your normal dose of oxycodone is 80mg to be at a good nod
when adding alcohol you would take 40mg with 5 drinks.

or

When combing with benzos you would take 40mg oxycodone with 2mg alprazolam in order to roughly equal an "80mg high".

Hopefully this makes sense to other people besides myself, if not feel free to close

It often doesn't work in the way of 40mg Substance A + 100mg Substance B = High of 80mg Substance A.

A chart illustrating safety margins for combinations of CNS depressants, at different dosage and tolerance levels would be helpful, though. If I do find something, I'll be posting back here.

yeah I know most of it is kind of subjective and depends on the individual and all, but I guess I was just looking for like a general ratio when combing different substances...like 70% opiate dose plus 3 drinks equals roughly 100% normal dose....or something along those lines as an estimated guide

thanks though

The only way this could possibly work is if its a guide for people with no tolerance to anything, as soon as someone has a tolerance to 1 or more of the drugs in the combination, the numbers go out the window.

Something on relative potency of CNS depression/sedation of commonly used drugs would be useful and interesting though IMO.

a relative guide for no tolerance might be helpful as a baseline for people to compare to or your idea of relative potency sounds interesting as well
