Over the past couple of weekends, I've had a few lines of coke... nothing major, but the few days after it, I feel like I've got a cold... my nose does not stop running and my eyes are all watery, and my throat is slightly sore!
Does anyone else get this?? If so, have you got any remedies?? Who knows... maybe it is a real cold trying to get out!
 
In my experience with snorting things I've found most times I've ended up with a runny nose and sore throat, especially after snorting meth. I've never had watery eyes though (that I can remember). I'm pretty sure the runny nose thing happens with most people.
Just learn to live with the sniffling. I don't have any remedies, wonder if anyone else does?

kane, i didn't suggest weed for a cold - he's describing sinus irritation and runny nose after snorting - which weed does help. it seems to dry the nasal passages for a while, without causing too much discomfort.

(ahem) nickster is a she (ahem)...cheers for the advice... but i think it might actually be a cold...
i think it's going to be an ongoing experiment to see if my colds alwaywa start on a monday!
 
I dont think it's a cold, most likely just the effects from snorting - generally I kill about a bottle of Afrin every month, without it I can't breathe through my nose at all ..
And I know it's cool to be a pothead and claim marijuana should be smoked for everything but thats just foolish..
 
Thats a bunch of bullshit, the medical value of marijuana is that it can help eliminate nausea, help build your apetite, and a few other things.. it can't help cure a cold, if anything it would badly agrivate any type of respiratory problems.. if you're going to preach the oh-so-wonderfull values of "medical marijuana" please educate yourself as to what medical purposes it actually has!
 
^^ word to what the allmighty PhreeX says. but i do think weed helps on the bad comedown of coke, but im not sure of it helping a runny nose, and i really doubt it helps a common cold, but hey to each their own. get a cold, smoke some bud, and stay home for a extra day or two after making it worse with the weed. j/k hehe
