That would be enough to meet the entire US demand for illegal drugs for about ten days. At current wholesale prices, three billion would buy about 120-150 metric tons of high purity cocaine. (A very heavily loaded semi truck can haul about 30 tons, to give you some idea of how much that is.)

They've been using this same line for 15 years.

And they're completely ridiculous to believe they're going to have an effect. Because America isn't the only market anymore. They're pushing cocaine all over Europe now.
 
It's fucking insane to be spraying mass quantities of herbicides on agricultural land. If they completely screw Colombia up ecologically, crime and oil will be the only thing the country has.
