Cure this cold heart
a dark, loveless vessel
that pumps cold blood
day in, day out.
It yearns to be drenched
with warmth, with life, with love.
Yet it continues to radiate its
icey cold feelings and emotions to its unsuspecting victims.
Its so cold, that only an anxious, self reliant being,
can live with this frozen vessell.
As it is unable to commit, to be open, to be warm.
Its in search of the key to your sunshine,
the light you beam and the warmth you donate
For it knows that once this is found-
it is for eternity.
