blows?
blues?
idk.
but!
what kinds of opiates are you taking?
what is your current tolerance?
how much suboxone did you take when you got sick?
you don't suck. it's called
addiction. it sounds like you're just beginning your journey to sobriety anyway, so don't let it get you down too much. i'm in the very same boat as you. i've recently weened myself down to using only 75-90mg of oxycodone- on the days that i still use. i usually wait no more than 16 hours before dosing my suboxone. i snort my suboxone also, as the bioavailability is better that way and because it's just kind of my style (which i know i am not helping myself by doing, but to each his own). anyway, even when i was still doing 150-160mg of oxy, i always started with 2mg of suboxone the following day. when i started to feel crappy again later on in the day (roughly 8 hours later), i would dose another .5-1mg. i never went over 4mg in a day (except one time) but find that i really only need 2-3mg/day at most for the best results.
sometimes when i do my suboxone even 18-20 hours after my last oxycodone dose, i still get precipitated withdrawals. this may be what happened to you as well, though i have never experienced dry heaves during precipitated withdrawal. if it was precipitated withdrawals, it shouldn't have lasted more than 20-40 minutes. it is possible that your suboxone dose is indeed too high for your tolerance, especially if you are taking an entire 8mg at a time. a couple days ago i did a total of 5mg throughout the day (the most i have ever done in one day) and found that the effects were more negative. sure, my withdrawals were gone, but i was shaking and felt really geeked out. i couldn't sleep for the life of me and when i closed my eyes it was like i was somewhere else, extremely vividly, and everything was really loud.
it seems to be the general consensus that suboxone has some undesirable effects in higher doses and is also often prescribed at too high doses// and that in smaller doses it gives more pleasant effects including better euphoria. try cutting your dose down. start with 1-2mg and work your way up until you feel held. if it was precipitated withdrawal, it shouldn't have lasted too long and also shouldn't last very long if you experience it in the future. also, if you do experience precipitated withdrawal, wait to re-dose again for another couple of hours to avoid repeating it.
to answer your question:
-yes, tramadol and suboxone can be taken together.
i wouldn't recommend taking a huge dose of trams though. tramadol also seems to be used often for coming off of suboxone, so keep that in mind too for later on down the road if you have a steady supply (or stock up when you can).
-i don't think that i would recommend 'knocking yourself out' until you know how the suboxone is going to affect you on your next go 'round. if it again causes you to get sick, the last thing you want is to be vomiting while unconscious.
sorry for the long reply, but i hope this is helpful to you, even if only a little bit

remember, you CAN do this, it will just take time. good luck to you!
