Cocaine Coke that will cook to crack vs coke that wont

Hey all,

I have a friend that tells me there is cooking powder and non-cooking powder, which means coke that will come back as crack and coke that wont. She says the stuff that is non-cooking powder is still coke, but its just not "cooking powder". I'm telling her that if it does not come back, there is no coke in it period, just other active cuts.

Is there such a thing as "non-cooking" powder that is still coke?

Look at amphetamine.
Dextro-Amphetamine has vastly different effects than Levo-Amphetamine.

They are both amphetamine, but have different properties. They are both considered amphetamine by the layman.

From my limited experience, coke that doesn't cook up is either cut to shit or has some other additive interfering with the cooking process.
That being said, there are cuts which will cook up into your rocks.

Those are called isomers. That's because amphetamine is a synthetic drug. It's a totally different concept. Cocaine is not a synthetic drug, it's synthesized in one isomer by the coca plant.

And the different effects of D-amphetamine and L-amphetamine are due to their binding to receptors, where stereochemistry tends to play a large role. Stereochemistry (specfically enantiomers) does NOT play a large role when chemically separating compounds.

Some cutters will cause that problem. All coke can be rocked but you might have to take different steps to get rid of the cutter and make the transformation. My boy had an oz that wouldn't rock up the normal baking soda way. he was about to loose his mind when a more seasoned shade tree chemist got the desired result using ammonia . I DO NOT suggest using this method. I do not know all the steps he took to safely ( as safe as crack is ) make smokable rock instead of white goo.

Powderred cocaine hydrochloride, even if it's cut to shit, should "rock up" (it might yield shit though) and make crack through the usual 4:1 ratio (4 parts coke, 1 part soda). Either that, or ammonia, or any other base. the point is- cocaine freebase is solid, MDPV, amphetamine etc arent - they are oils!

The point stands, if it's not a solid as a freebase it's not cocaine.
