Coke Rush and Heroin Rush Analogies

An IV coke rush:

It is a boiling hot day in the middle of summer, and you're at work/school, and you just can't concentrate because of how hot it is. There are flies, you are sweating, yo have a headache, and you are irritable as fuck. You are very thirsty. You go out to a tap, and fill a bucket with freezing cold water. Slowly, you raise the huge bucket above your head, and then you tip it all over yourself. Multiply this pleasure and relief by one hundred, and it's almost like a rush from IV cocaine.

An IV heroin rush:

It is a freezing cold day in the middle of winter, and you're walking the 2 mile journey home form work/school. The air is icy and dry, you're carrying your heavy as shit schoolbag/briefcase. Your bones and muscles ache, you can harldy walk. Youc an harldy keep your eyes open because of how drained you are. You unlock your front door with shivering hands, and inside your house, it is no warmer. You put your things down, go to the bathroom, and undress. You are still shivering and your teeth are still chattering. You fill your bathtub with steaming, boiling water. The bath is full. You sink into that water, and all your aches and pains just melt away. Multiply this pleasure by one thousand, and it's almost like a rush from IV heroin.

Lol, sorry for dragging on like that.

I've never tried coke or smack, but how close are these to the sensations? Also which do you prefer, coke or heroin?
 
Doing a shot of heroin when you are dopesick is basically going from the worst feeling you could imagine to the best feeling you could concieve of in under 5 seconds.
 
If a bucket of cold water did for me what a shot of coke used to, then I wouldn't have scars all up and down my arms.

In my opinion, it is pointless to try and describe an IV coke rush (bellringer, train, wah-wah's, etc.) to someone who has never done coke to begin with.

The one thing I would point out, however, is that the difference between the best rush and your worst nightmare is only a few grains of coke.

Yea, like he said. My first experiences with girl, i was in my late teens. Smoked like 7 bowls of reef, each bowl having like a dub sack capping it off, me being in the "right place, right time." Didnt really feel shit from it. Did a line a week later, fuckin hated it; and this was good shit mind u. Fast foward now, RINGY RINGY RINGY etc. Very hard to explain to a newb. The opposite of what u would think.
 
OP, post's #2 and #3, sum up a lot of what you are wondering. You would do better, staying away from either drug. It is not as romantic as it's made out to be.
 
Hell, I used to do a bunch of coke "back in the day" ('80's) when that shit was everywhere. Even when I'd snort a huge line of good stuff, I never got anything close to the train and wah wah deal. I mean, I felt nice as all get out but no real head rush like that. My biggest problem was that I couldn't stop doing it once I started. I always said that if I ever hit it rich and could buy coke as much and as often as I wanted, I'd probably be dead inside a week. As for heroin, as a CPP I've been on opiates for the better part of the last 30 years and I've heard how much stronger and better IV H was. Let me state for the record, I know for a fact that if it's as good as advertised, I need to steer as far away as possible from it. I would definitely be the "one time and you're hooked" guy! Anything that's that good just can't be good for you, I've heard said.
 
I hate it when junkies wax poetic about how good the IV rush is. Yeah, doing drugs feels good, big fuckin' whoop. I've shot H before and yeah, it does feel really good but it's hardly worth the excess of English lit dropout prose that's been puked out in regards to it

Everyone's brain chemistry is different; some people love coke, I hate it. That's why so many different drugs are used and abused - because they feel different to most everyone. Personally, IV opiates probably feel better then just about anything else I've ever felt- drug wise or not. It feels cheap and deplorable saying that, but I'm being honest. My personal statement would be:
"The rush from IV opiates is definitely worth the excess of English lit dropout prose that's been puked out in regards to it. The horror of withdrawal is also definitely worth the same excess of verbal puke devoted to it, too, because it's absolutely horrific."
