Cocaine Coke not Hardening into 1 rock?

Sorry if its in the wrong section, I searched for literally hours all over the web to find out the answer but couldn't, maybe you can help.

When I go to cook up my coke in a spoon, i put between a 4:1 -> 3:1 ratio of coke:soda in a spoon with a bit of water. I heat it up and let all the soda bubble out. Problem is, once it all bubbles out, I'm not left with oil on top, I'm left with hundreds of tiny white chunks floating around in the spoon. Sometimes I get a few rocks out of it, but most of it seems to be floating around in the spoon, and I never see this oil that every single person posting about cooking coke talks about. When I am able to get a few decent sized rocks out, they stay mushy, never harden, and the high isn't all that good.

Can any1 tell me what I'm doing wrong? I really don't wanna waste any more of my cocaine >_<
 
Probably way too much. I usually bust out a pile of coke about the size of a quarter (diameter and thickness), sprinkle some soda on top. I then put it in a spoon, and put water in to the point that on the 2 longer ends of the spoon, there's about 1cm of water between the pile and where the water line stops. I'll try it again later today with just enuf water to make it into a paste, maybe a tiny bit more.
 
way too much water you need just enough so it makes it creamy looking then slowly heat.. its a matter of trial and error to get it right
 
Is it really that easy to cook soft into hard? I know there has been times I've wanted rock but could only get soft, but I never knew how to cook it up and didn't want to waste it. Just add soft, some water, soda, and cook it?

This will give you very crude crack, there's more to it if you want decent stuff.
 
Awesome thanks for the info, I'm gonna try again right now with a few lines worth see if i cant get it right this time.

@ykm: It seems easy, hell, even when I watch other people throw it in the spoon it LOOKS easy, but theres a technique and you have to get it right. I've only ever put it in the spoon myself 5 times, all of which having similar results as stated in OP, but I keep trying more of something, less of something, to try and get it right. From what I hear the ammonia method is a LOT easier to not screw up and waste the precious white powder.


Edit: Thank you a bunch for the info about using less water! I put about 2 lines worth in, made it sludgy with a tiny bit of extra water on top, heated it and saw the oil! Stirred it up with the push stick I use on the pipe, and after abouut 30 second of stirring was left with 1 huge ball on the end of the stick! Didn`t quality test it yet, figured I should post saying it worked BEFORE i go and get paranoid haha.

Are there any alternatives to using brillo/chore boy as a screen?

I made a tube pipe out of a piece of a car engine (heh), but where I live, there is NO brillo/chore boy. The closest thing we have are SOS Steel Wool pads, but they have soap in them so not really usable for a pipe screen. I was thinking maybe balling up tinfoil and sticking it in there, but im afraid it'll either 1) get stuck in the pipe and I can't push those nice rez hoots, or B) Be too lose and end up in my lungs halfway thru the hit.

I'm currently using a normal weed pipe with a layer of ashes, then a layer of weed, and im holding the pipe sideways (So the bowl is faced like D not U [using the round part as bottom of bowl and flat part as top of bowl]) so it doesnt flow down thru the hole.
 
In my experience, putting a little amount of weed, then your hard works perfect in a bowl. I generally just use a can, however. Make it like you would make a pipe, put tobacco over the holes, then put your hard on there. Light it up, sizzle it down, clear it out. Has always given me a very nice rush. Gah, I gotta get outta here, I'm trying to quit coke, last night I had the indescribable desire to IV caine, now I just want to smoke a fatass rock down -.-
