coke mixing wierd with water

A buddy of mine has some cocaine that he was intending to cook or slam (depending on his mood). But when water was added to the powder the cocaine separated into clumps and floated on top and wouldnt mix with the water. Anyone here know what cutting agents would cause this to happen? Needless to say to my friend found it to be a very frustrating experience and a waste of good $$. Any ideas on whats goin on here??

as far as i was told, when it was smoked it produced a numbing at the back of the throat and a very weak "head-rush" along with the classic paranoia we've all come to know and love when smoking or shooting cocaine. So if it's not blow as you suggest, what was it then. Amphetamines mixed with procaine?? or some other numbing agent? My buddy said he did get a high off of it so it was a mind-altering substance of some kind....

my thoughts exactly, however this source is very reliable and usually very hi-quality, and I know 100% that the seller himself does NOT step on it so if thats the case its happening further up the chain...I'be posted this question on another forum and recieved some isightful info, so please I'd appreciate some real discussion and not one-line quips, if you could indulge me.

I don't really know what "insight" you're looking for here, but if you had pure cocaine it would dissolve into the water, not float on the surface, so your cocaine is either not cocaine at all or is very heavily cut, as has already been mentioned. Cocaine is nearly always cut at some levels of the distribution chain, just because your guy doesn't step on his coke doesn't mean anything. Your guy got it from another guy who got it from another guy who got it from somewhere else. Somewhere along this line, somebody cut the cocaine with something. It is more likely that it was cut at every step, and therefore could have many different cuts.

Because we're people on the Internet and not a professional lab testing service we can only speculate what is in your cocaine. Cocaine is cut with many different things and its very hard to tell without a professional GC/MS analysis in a properly equipped laboratory.

yes i understand that coke is cut at all levels of distribution. I'm not an idiot. I mentioned that MY FRIENDS connect does not step on it. As far as "insighful info" other forums have suggested ammino acids as cutting agents causing this issues....that is the kind of info im looking for. Theres really no need to be condecending. I'm just trying to have an intelligent conversation here...

I don't see very much value in guessing what your coke is cut with, that's what I'm saying...

my bad man....i do appreciate the input. any houghts on the ammino acid cut?? i was informed that would cause the coke to clump and float. but as you said; its all speculation.

very cool...thanks a bunch. Ive read LeJunks method before but I have a full time job and a social life so that ones kinda too much for me (thats a joke, LeJunk). The Iso Alch method seems simple enough..i'll give that a shot next weekend. All the best!!

I prefer the pressed rocks (hcl) and like it shaken in the spoon, not stirred. That way you see all the levels of the cuts. The heavy salt looking crystals that stay at the bottom, sometimes with fish food looking flakes (fish scale anybody?), the stuff that absorbed water and floats around in little clumps (talc maybe? who knows), and my favorite it all the who knows what that is water soluble that you get. You can make most of it dissolve with enough persistence and maybe heat if you are crazy. I think the best thing is a quick cold shake and draw off all the clear solution, don't worry about the dregs. If you have a lot of residue after a quick wash and can't resist and wash it again,heat it till it dissolves if you want, and you will see that there is nothing worthwhile in there.
