Coke -Freebase / Smoke

Hey Guys, Gals, and Friends .....

I searched the threads for a while but couldn't find exactly what i was looking for.

So i have some Blow in semi rock form (not crack i promise and i know its good stuff, but no offense to those that partake in crack.... im not judging!)

So its like a rock but all i have to do it touch it lightly and it breaks so i know there's some cutting agent in it. I go through a reputable source so i know its pretty pure..... so my 2 Q's are:


1) Can i smoke it like that alone in a pipe (or bowl) or should i chase it off foil like a pill or something?

2) Or maybe make a bowl with Weed and sprinkle some on top (like a Chronic Blunt or something.....)


Will that work or do i have to refine it into more of a rock form in order to freebase or smoke it efficiently??

Thanks in Advance for the responses and any input or experiences that may help me reach the answer.....

First off, some terminology.
Cocaine free base = "crack" is a low-boiling, smokeable version of cocaine that doesn't dissolve in water.
Cocaine salts / Cocaine HCl is the "pharmaceutical" form of cocaine, commonly seen as a white powder, dissolves in water, and is practically unsmokeable. (this is what I assume you have)

To prepare cocaine HCl salt into a smokeable form (freebase or "crack" cocaine) the general recipe is 4 parts (by weight) cocaine, 1 part baking soda, enough water to cover it. You can either filter off the oily rock you get or you can gently warm it to evaporate the water. Some people use ammonia instead of baking soda - I reccomend the non-sudsy kind.

Cocaine salt (snortable "cocaine") is basically unsmokeable and will simply be destroyed by flame if you try to smoke it. This goies for "foilies" or chasing it off of foil, and "snow capped" blunts/joints/bowls. Some people do report effects smoking cocaine salts, but they are mild and probably placebo.

If you have access to ammonia, it's preferable to baking soda, as it's a stronger base. There's plenty of guides on the internet, but basically, put your blow in say a spoon, and start adding ammonia drop by drop (pipette is the best). Keep adding base as long as no more precipitate forms (ie. instead of going cloudy, the last drop is clear when it hits the liquid). Then get a stirrer, spoon, whatever, and stir the thing around and scrape the base that forms off. In the end I recommend wiping the whole spoon with the last bits of ammonia/cocaine in it on a coffee filter - once it's dry, you can scrape it off for smoking.

Don't try to smoke your hydrochloride - cooking base is very easy and quick.

Foilies made with a pinch of baking soda tend to work quite well. But I'm assuming that's because the cocaine turns into a freebase on the foil?
