coke-first time-meh

ok so about 2 weeks ago i did some coke- approx. 3 lines, and it was densely packed. i didn't buy it so i don't really have a good idea of what fraction of the total i snorted was. it was supposedly called something like 'china white' or 'porcelain white' (??). anyhoo, from what i've heard the experience was typical- initial rush after 2-5 min, then a lot of talkativeness for about 30-40 min. i was walking around my bf's apt. kind of doing all these nervous habit things. also the coke made me kind of bitey- i bit/sucked on the insides of my cheeks a lot (i did this the one time i did LSD as well, interestingly enough). i also didn't feel that sexual arousal/horniness that a lot of people experience- i just wanted to talk and intellectualize a lot. i also felt like i had a lot of phlegm in my throat and i kept swallowing nervously. but it certainly made me social. after the initial comedown i was wired for the next 3 hours! my bf went to bed and i was so alert it was ridiculous. not necessarily physically so, but my mind was really active still. i tried to do some breathing exercises to relax me; it didn't really work, but eventually i managed to get to sleep (about 2.5- 3 hrs after the comedown. the worst part was the anxiety, paranoia and restlessness i experienced the next day. that really sucked. i couldn't sit still and i went nuts at the gym. i felt really bitchy and edgy for most of the day.

also, the morning after the trip, my muscles were sore and i couldn't figure out why.

it might also be worth mention that about 2.5-3 hours before i did the lines i had had a couple of drinks at a bar. i was still feeling it a little when i did the coke, but i was more sobering up from the alcohol by that point.
 
Allot of the effects you describe are amphetamine-like...

my first time on coke i just felt great for like an hour or so (was already really drunk), no sexual arousal, and i stayed up all night, not like fucked up, but wired. I feel like coke is ok only once in a while when you are drunk. I don't think i would like it otherwise.
 
that sounds pretty similar to my coke experiences. overall, i am not impressed with that substance.

sprinklervibes: those effects dont sound like amphetamine to me. my longest marathon sex session was after taking some meth, whereas coke just made me feel wired. maybe coke gets cut with ephedrine or some bullshit, amphetamines are pretty enjoyable.

hear hear. not something i'm gonna be clamoring to do again, esp. since i have problems with anxiety so i mostly hate stimulants. but in this situation it was free, so it might be one of those once-in-a-while, 'meh' drugs that i might do if it's lying around, but i really do not find it terribly thrilling.

i am totally a hallucinogen fan. what can i say.

i myself have never tried coke and am looking forward to trying it when i get to the uk in a couple of weeks. little worried i mite be a little let down after i have read and heard before.

haha you sound alot like me, i suffer from anxiety problems aswell and im really not into stimulants at all, buds used to straighten me out to the bullshit but quit as it would only contribute to my anxiety in the long run, hallucinogens are the way 2 go for me too!! :)
 
I apologise for having to use you as my example, but trip reports this short are too short to keep open. May I advise you to come back and add some more detail to this?

I also think you may benefit from experimenting with meditation if you are suffering problems with anxiety, short breathing techniques are useful if just to regulate your oxygen intake and feel a bit more grounded :)
