Lets say one has been up all night doing coke, and they are still high on it when they arrive at their dentist appointment later, would it be dangerous if the dentist administered any drugs? IE: novacaine? Thanks very much for any help and I appologize if this is the wrong forum.

This should be in Health Q& A but what I want to ask is why would you go to a dentist all cracked out from a night of blowing lines? I mean I like coke and all but show some restraint.

Just my thoughts.

Lol @ "I thought it would be fun."

I don't know about Coke, but I can't imagine it would be good. I know that if you have a long night of Opiate fun, the novacaine does not work very well.. after a long night of Oxycontin one time, I had a dentist appt. the next day and they had to put 9 shots of novacaine for a simple procedure because I could still feel the tooth they were working on...

Good luck.

You'll be cool. And so you know, the dentist won't administer any drugs on a standard check-up. If he found a cavity, he will reschedule an appointment to have it filled. And on another note, I have *never* had a shot of novocaine, the "I'm scared of needles" line *will* score you a nice hit of nitrous :)

Well.. I went... all coked up and he found... oh man... 13 cavities! lol

I don't eat sweets much... brush everyday... I dunno man... but your right he did have me schedule another appointment... I dunno if I can go through 13 fillings with just nitrous. Maybe he'll gimmie both... :D

thanks for the replies.
