Hi i live in the uk and have been trying to get cognitive therapy on the nhs without any sucsess for many years.
I just wondered if anyone out there has managed to receive this treatment from the nhs and if so how they got on
. Thanks

@brmz

I have had CBT and am currently waiting a re-referal. It is available on the NHS but with the long waiting lists it can be many years after the initial accessment before you recieve treatment.
Obviously i dont know your area but in M/C your G.P has to refer you to the local mental health community clinic to get accessed of a psychiatrist, who may then recommend C.B.T.(or not).
Good luck, hope you can get something sorted bro.
