I bought two lots of 32 paracetemol/codiene tablets (500mg/8mg). I used CWE on one lot of 32 resulting in a clear liquid once filtered. This did not give me much of a high.

Today, I did the same thing, with the second packet (a different brand from the first one). I made sure the water used to mix the crushed pills was warm, not hot.
While there was a fair bit of white goo at the bottom of the glass I got impatient and filtered too early, however, put the resulting liquid back in a cool place because it was milky.
I then waited and filtered a few times seeing a little more paracetemol come off but seeing that the liquid was still white. I then put the liquid in the freezer for maybe 20 minutes and proceeded to filter 4-5 times. To no avail.
To filter I used layers of tissues and also absorbent kitchen towel (varying which one swim used).
I was then left with half a large glass of liquid that was milky (you could see through it a little bit). Fearing I may damage myself, but drinking it anyway, I is now afraid I has ODed on paracetemol. At first I felt a bit faint and sick (but that could just be the codiene right? I feels buzzed right now but is worried. I is sure he'll be alright because I removed most of it and filtered many times but I am scared shitless that this may not be the case (bearing in mind paracetetmol ODs take around 24 hours to show symptoms other than nausea/vomiting).

I was wondering if you have advice/experience that could be of help. I was thinking of going to the emergency room but then thought it may be a waste of time....not sure..

Hey JayBoy543, welcome to Bluelight!

Hope to see you around here, just so you know, we don't use "SWIM", we know its you and it makes it harder to read posts...

In regards to your question, if you feel as if you have overdosed on APAP (paracetemol), it is best o seek medical attention, because, as you mentioned, APAP ODs can take a while to show symptoms.

However, it doesn't seem like you consumed that much APAP. We can't really know for sure though, because we're people on the Internet...when in doubt, seek medical attention.

How are you feeling otherwise? I'm not that experienced when it comes to CWEs w/codeine but maybe somebody else can chime in.

Hope to see you around Bluelight!

Hello, welcome to bluelight. First of all, we do not use SWIM here. Everyone knows it is you, and it will not protect you in regards to any kind of legal trouble you may encounter.

Secondly, while doing a CWE, it is expected that SOME apap will make it through the filtering process, and you should NOT have used warm water. Colder water is ideal, as codeine is perfectly soluble in cold water, while APAP is not. APAP's solubility rises with higher water temperatures, this is why cold water is ideal.

I am not personally experienced with doing CWE's but your technique sounds about right. I am sure you got SOME apap in your final solution, but it is highly unlikely that it is a lethal level.

Nobody on here can tell you for sure if you OD'd on APAP. Symptoms won't present for a few days, and the fact thatyou are feeling faint/sick right now could simply be due to consuming a little too much codeine.

When in doubt, the best thing you can do is go to the hospital. Nobody on here are doctors, and cannot give you a correct diagnosis. Chances are you will be just fine, but if you are in doubt, please either call 911 or go to the hospital.

I am going to close this, since this isn't really Other Drug material, and we cannot give you a correct answer since we are not doctors. Otherwise, we obviously hope you turn out to be okay, and I hope you stick around bluelight, you can learn a lot. Also familiarize yourself with the BLUA and the OD Guidelines, located in my signature.

You won't feel anything from a paracetamol overdose for up to 24-48 hours after the toxic dose, which is what makes it really dangerous.

I'd suggest getting checked out medically if you're at all concerned, you can always say you were confused about the doses and accidentally took paracetamol tablets too long, or dosed two products containing them without realizing.

If you absolutely won't go to the hospital to get checked out, purchasing some s-adenosyl-methionine (commonly called 'SAMe' or just 'methionine') could help. Its been tested and shown to reverse paracetamol overdose when dosed orally. The dosage regimen used in the clinical studies was 2,500mg of s-adenosyl-methionine every four hours until you've taken 10,000mg total.

Also check out the CWE Megathread for a lot of good information on how to improve your technique.

Edit - BDP beat me to it :)
