I was wondering if it was ok to take doses of codeine aswell as a daily dose of methadone? A daily dose of methadone 20ml taken at tea time each day so would it be ok to take regular doses of 30mg codeine throughout the day aswell ( i have a very high tolerance codeine to the point i can take betwenn 400mg and 800mg a day and not feel very high and get little pain relief to ) . I have read that it can lower heart rate and respiratory system but if the methadone has adjusted in your body and you are used to it now and also have tolerance to codeine does it mean that you can take the 2 together without risk of OD?

We are not ment to answer these 'is this safe' sort of questions as there is no way we can tell you that you'll be safe.
I imagine but I'm not sure (this where someone more knowledgable my step in)
that this could be a dangerous combination! Your methadone dose is by no means high but that doesn't make it safe, if you are going to do it start with lower doses obviously, oh and some things to take in to consideration would be size, tolerance metabolism and maybe look at any past experiences with these two substances and know your sweet spot

hi i have another question i have managed to get some H i havent ad it fir a few years and am going to smoke some i wondered if it would react negatively with the methadone i havent had a dose since last night and am not going to have a dose tonight as the H shuld do the job much better than the meth! i realise its a slippery slope but i am not going to get myself a habit just want a bit as i havent had it for ages and its an amazing buzz and the meth has reminded me how nice it feels to gouch whilst not been in any pain at all whichs a jackpot any advice or info on doses etc would be much appreciated cheers

^ nah your meth dose is too small to block any of the H high and if your only smoking it your safe from OD. toot away and enjoy
