Hi,
So difficult to get an answer on this.
This is about Injecting codeine tablets.
I have been researching and getting mixed information.
I've heard it's possible to inject codeine tablets. Then I've heard it can't be done.
Some claim about itchiness, which I believe is an allergic reaction.
And yes there are fillers etc in tablets.
Also what if the codeine tablets also contain paracetamol?
Is there a dosage of codeine that is considered safe whilst getting high?

As far as I know, you CAN'T do it. I don't know the science and hopefully someone will explain but you just can't do it.

Don't do it.

"Intravenous codeine was used in the past, but serious life-threatening side effects including transient but severe cardiorespiratory depression, and seizures, led to proscription of this route of delivery."

IV codeine can also cause radical hypotension, apparently due to histamine release.

Beyond the very real danger of injecting pill fillers, IV codeine is so dangerous that they no longer prescribe it via that ROA.

All of that in contrast to the minimal high it provides, it's just not worth the danger.
