codiene and weed

Hi guys, thanks for your time sorry if im scattered but here goes bear with me.

I am in australia , so i went out and got nurofen plus tablets on the way home from a friends house. Its a friday night and i also scored some weed.

12:00 midnight... got home and started cutting the codiene of the pills
and also start to chop up a small amount of weed for a joint.

12:30 take 30 nurofen plus halves (= 370mg codiene)

1:00 go out to the car quietly so my parents dont here me.... and smoke a small weak joint ...with the car windows up ...a compression session.

1:30 get back in side and lie on the bed...feeling a little dozy but that nice warm feeling of codiene covered my body as i sat still in bed..just mesmerised and thinking deeply

2:00 start to feel a little itchy but very stoned too and numb.. still a nice warm feeling.

2:30 time is flying as i listen to trance softly and watch the tv on and off...but start scratching my leg...then start furiously scratching my hair and basically start scratching my whole body for a full 15 minutes. It feels good scratching but then the scratching get more annoying till it hurts

3:30 the weak marijuana has totally worn off....so i dont have that nice lovvy dovvy stoned feeling....but im still scratching...although i think that the codiene is wearing off too! at last......

3:50 heading to the car for another joint....

SUmmmary..... Codiene is a great feeling and mixed with weed its awesome fun...although next time i plan to get anti histamines to stop the itching because the itching my trip unbearable and took away most of the lovely feeling you get when on smaller amounts... I on a few occasions tried to masterbate......i could get it up but i couldnt keep interest in wanking off so i stopped and then went back to just lying dreaming on my bed. i did this several times..
For those of you who want to know what it is like...all i can say is take a smaller dose of codiene first ...(its better in small amounts) or if you do take large amounts take anti scrath pills too.

Any thoughts or comments...similar trips anyone?

i have yet to use an OTC anti-histamine that is even 70% effective for the "ithcies". It's just something you get used to, and eventually love, cause you assotiate it with being nodded out.

I find that as long as I don't use more than 280-300mg of codeine that about 50 mg of loratadine that it significantly reduces the itching, and while it doesn't take it away completely, it reduces it to a bearable level. But getting use to the itching is preferable so you can take more codeine IMO.

Yeh i'm with you. Apart from one time, anti-histamines have never really alleviated the itchiness, maybe dulled it a little, but they're still there. I quite enjoy a good scratch, as long as I don't end up scatching off half my back.

Just took 345 mg , no histamines , the itch is kinda nice for me , part of the experience just like drip with coke.

i dont mind the itch when im moving around and whatever. But i generally like to lay down and do nothing on opiates. This is when the itching gets really annoying. You want to lay still and drift off but you keep comming back to your body to itch it.

yeah man, you know you're fuckin buzzed when you're scratching your head and staring blankly at a tv screen for half an hour. I've only used antihistamines once; no itching, but to be honest it's almost like visine for ganja, kinda takes something away.

when it comes to itching on codeine, try your luck with an antihistamine i say. half a polaramine works nicely for me, and doesn't make me so drowsy when combined with codeine that i fall asleep and waste the dose. either that, or visually distract yourself throughout. i normally scratch like mad with no music or visuals to keep my eyes focussed on something else aside how itchy my forehead is.

i hear good things about phenergan and codeine, but i can't personally qualify that.

So what's the deal with cutting the Nurofen? Is there a reason? I'm interested in trying codeine with weed.

one half is supposed to be codeine the other painkiller , but I think your better of doing an extract (I regard it as a myth)

also I tried , codeine with promethazine (phenergan) , made me too drowsy , hate histamine drowsiness , no extra euphoria but no itch either.

You regard it as a myth? Couldn't you just chop em up and come to a conclusion based on wether you are stoned or not? I would like to know this myself. I currently have no access to these, but if the 2 seperate halves is true, im going to stock up.

half of my usual dose is still enough to get high , so I don't know how one would go about testing it (marquis , reageants?)

I think at some time the tablets were splittable , but not now or not the u.k ones at least (when people start seing patterns between the product code or box they come in regards to being splittable alarm bells kinda went off for me)

When I had the nurofens in my possesion i just did an cwe , worked just fine.

Ya the itch is an integral part of the opiate experience. I've learned to enjoy it , although I find codeine to be the itchiest of them all for some reason.
