I just performed the codeine cold water extraction portrayed/explained in the video below, using 8mg Codeine/500mg tylenol tablets.

I think I followed the steps more or less correctly, BUT, I have noticed that the solution I ended up with is a *little* cloudier than the solution the dude ends up with in the video. I threw out the vast majority of the sludge at the bottom of the glass (didn't even put it in the filter, shit was almost cement-like anyway), but I'm still worried there might be a few thousand milligrams of acetominophen in there. I tasted it and it's bitter, though it's not really what I'd consider a tylenol taste, it's almost like a "salty bitterness" if you can fathom that. The color is basically like that of a glass of water with a teaspoon full of salt dissolved in it. Do you guys think I've got a mostly codeine and water here, or a lot of acet? I'm acetominophen intolerant, so this is important to me for harm reduction purposes.

APAP dissolves in a miniscule amount regardless how perfect your CWE procedure is preformed. If you are APAP intolerant, then I suggest not consuming the mixture.

While I'm not sure what APAP intolerant is, I'd have to agree. Like if you're allergic or have some sort of liver damage, I'd be sure to check your steps again. If your solution reached a higher temperature than its supposed to before you finished decanting, you have more than your estimated quanity of paracetamol in your resultant solution. If you used more water than the tek, you have more paracetamol in your solution. You can freeze precipitate it out and lower your liquid amount to reduce the amount of APAP if required.

That being said, a "few thousand" milligrams of APAP won't hurt the average person.
