Cocaine Tester

Hi, I was wondering if there are any raegents available over the net or in australia that test for cocaine? Also, does mandelin react at all with cocaine, if so, how?

Sorry, I don't know about manedlin... But if you've got access to marquis, cocaine will turn it purple. Keep in mind though, these tests are qualitative not quantitative, so while they may indicate the presence of cocaine, they can't tell you the purity of it...

I know of a test called the "Trail Test"

It involves sprinkling a small amount of the said cocaine on the surface of water in a clear drinking glass. Supposedly, if , and only if, it is cocaine, each particle will have a thin transparent trail following it as it sinks to the bottom.
Unfortunately, Procaine hydrochloride also produces trails as it sinks.
There is a bleach test you can do after this, to detect any of the synthetic anesthetics.

I just tried the water test on my 1g bottle of what I can only assume was baby powder, and it worked exactly as you stated. I know that it still could be Procaine hydrochloride, but after snorting a fair bit of it on the weekend, it seemed to have the desired effect. I'm doubting Procaine hydrochloride would have the same effect?
