Aside from "banging it" (thanks anyway PhreeX!), how can one limit the damage to ones nasal passages?

on a more hopeful note, try cleaning your nose out after any snorting session. it will burn like hell, is a bit tedious but really pays off in the long run.
normally when i decide i want to get some sleep, or even when im in the shower the morning after when i have warm water i will snort handfuls of the water, clean the nose out using my fingers - rubbing at the walls, etc - you get the idea.
that way, you'll have the taste of coke lingering about for less and consequently, save your nose a bit of damage.
other than that, you cood use it orally if your loaded (throw it in alcoholic drinks) or rub it on your gums, but you dont really wanna burn them up.. they're quite visible

You can also rinse your nose out with saline solutions (like the kind for eyes) --tip your head back and squeeze out some drops. This also has the added benefit of giving you a little rush from all the cocaine that was stuck on the inside of your nose.

Good advice - how long after snorting should one wait before cleaning out the nose? In other words, how long after snorting has all that cocaine goodness been utilized?
as soon as your finished for the nite/are sobre enuff.
even if you leave it til the next morning, which ive often done, cos if you look up on the mirror you'll prolly see lots of coke particles sitting around on your nose hairs, you'll be doing a lot of good.
after 1 long coke nite, put your head back for a while (as if you were lying down) and you shood get a bitter taste of wots lyring around.. then go clean up while you finish with your buzz.

so... i made me some potassium trioxalatochromium(III) today, and in so doing i had to look up the safety data for potassium dichromate.

Use a nasal spray to dose up. There were some threads on this a few months ago. But the general idea was to fill an empty nasal spray bottle with a mixture of coke, alcohol and saline solution. Then take a few pumps like a normal nasal spray.
