i bought a gram cause i got it cheap and i knew i could make an easy 20 bucks or so on it. i really don't want to get into it, but i did a line anyway (i'm weak, i know) just to see what it's like. what a fucking joke. i guess it's an acquired taste, but it barely does anything at all! and it's way too expensive for my cheap-ass lifestyle. i guess if you got the dough for a habit and a trip to rehab it's cool, but i don't see why the HUGE appeal is. IMHO, the coolest part is doing gummies (rub a little bit on your gums). it's like novacain, that part is actually kinda fun if you're a dweeb like me. but snorting a line (a decent sized one i think) did very little except make me edgy and it made swallowing kinda difficult (numb throat) and an hour and a half later i wanted to do more just to see if a larger dose would be any better (didn't do any, but it was notably on my mind). i'm not about to IV anything at all, so forget that. i dunno. just wanted to share this nugget of my life with yall.

Yeah, I tried some a few weeks ago myself for the first (and only!) time. It was nice with the alcohol buzz I had going, but it damn well felt addictive. Once was enough for me, thanks. I think I could see myself becoming addicted to it easily if I used it even a couple more times, so I'm leaving well alone now.

might just be the quality of your cocaine. I had a recent experience with a friend who didn't get *any* euphoria from IV coke.
luckily, we changed that last week.
Coke is a weird drug. It's infamous. Because it carries certain connotations that other drugs do not. It's talked about alot. It doesn't carry the needle/junkie stigma that heroin does. It's "hard" but shiek. blahblahblah
...I'm just saying, I think that because it has such a large social awareness factor and history that people might expect things from the drug that it just won't give you.

Hahah, I just tried IV cocaine this past sunday... up until that experience I had the same mindset that coke is joke.... 1/10 of a gram snorted that barely has me talkative and alert had me staring at my computer screen with my entire body numb in the most extreme state of euphoria--that NO not even heroin could compare to--when IV'd. Coke is a complete waste of money unless you are willing to stick a needle in your vein, IMHO. However, you are still stuck with the intense urge to do more, and the intesified addiction factor that comes with having a needle in your vein(addictive to me, atleast)...

I guess a lot of this has to do with the high expectations that they have before they even do it. It is expensive & if you can't afford to support a blow habit then don't do it. I loved insulflated coke the first time. Felt like much more of a party drug than meth.
I disagree with trying it IV. *That* is an aquired taste (though you do seem to aquire it quickly). First time I felt like I had been hit by a train and really nasueses...felt almost like taking some 5-meo...just a big fucking rush. Then 15 mins later I am back taking another shot (smaller) and that felt much better...but still not that good.
I dunno, I really like the social aspects of coke which aren't present with IV. Yet I strangely want to try it again...well I will wait till I can try speedballing sometime .

coke ain't no joke... maybe yours is, but it def. works if its decent. as mentioned, it has a stigma of being all that like h or acid, but its just a little subtler, unless smoked or spiked.
a friend made some base, smoked it, said it sucked, like, just stoopid feeling want more, no cool social high. and from what ive heard, its a different thing altogether when spiked or smoked alot.. oral is fukken COOL if you know the dose to take.. makes one more pleased in general than rollin or anything i think.. but i like my mind, so if you want to 'go away' or whatever, coke isnt for you.

Do you take one sip of beer and then throw it away because your not feeling it?
Its one of thoses drugs you do all night, not just one line and away you go.
Also quality is grately different, first few times I tried I though that coke was ok but not brilliant. Then I got some of someone who had been doing coke for 40 years and only gets 85%+ pure coke (yes doubt all you want) and one medium line had me high as hell for 30 mins, did 2 in a row and thought that I would have a heart attack.
It was a totaly different experiance, acctualy full on body rushes for 40 mins of one medium line.
Basicaly your coke was shit.

Well duh...you did too much the first time, it sounds like, so you didn't properly enjoy it.
I've always found IV coke to be excellent, and I'm pretty picky about drugs. Unless you dislike pleasure, and provided you don't do a huge amount your first time, you WILL like IV coke.
As for coke being shitty and thinking it sucks the first time you do it...well, as was said, this is a common experience. And yes, we all thought the stuff we had was good...until we went to FL and tried some REAL coke.

Yeah, not everyone likes needles, that is an acquired taste for sure. What really blows my mind about my IV cocaine experience is that THEORETICALLY, IV should last about half as long as insufflated, right? WRONG! For me at least, I didn't start to come down for about 1/2 hour after I took the shot. Please, no criticism on this, this is my experience, maybe my body chemistry is different, I dunno, but I am not lying about this. I still haven't gotten around to posting that report... hm, maybe I'll go do that right now... it'll be in the trip reports forum if you're interested...
