Cocaine -- First Time -- Cracked out

That's true... taking tolerance into effect, some people are able to consume amounts of drugs that would be lethal to those with no tolerance quite easily.

^^^^^
No doubt. I used to take about 40 2mg bars of xanax a day, no problem. Not that THAT would kill you, but I should probably be retarded after 4 1/2 years of it. I even once took 125 bars (250mg alprazolam) with 40 2mg Klonpins. I still to this day take about 100-200mg hydrocodone with no tolerance, though, simply b/c it's just so damned weak. Yesterday I took 8mg xanax with no tolerance, and all it did was make me angry and depressed. I guess I'm not the man I used to be. Dangerous: it's a relative term.

^^ For fuck's sake, man! That's a lot of alprazolam! 8o ;)

I never got into benzos... they just don't do it for me. 1mg of Xanax will make me tired and zombie-ish, and 2mg will knock me the fuck out with no memory of it happening.

Last time I took more than a tiny dose of benzos, I took 1mg alprazolam, 10mg diazepam, and .5mg clonazepam. It was because I was about to go on a business trip in Dallas (I'm in NC), and I was really anxious about it. So anyway, I popped the pills and got ready to go. I don't even remember leaving my apartment. Next thing I know, I'm getting in a car that isn't mine, in Dallas, on the way to my company's office.

Turns out, while blacked out on benzos, I had left my apartment, driven myself to the airport, parked my car in long-term parking, gotten my ticket, gotten on the plane, flown to Dallas, gotten off the plane, figured out that I had a rental car waiting, gotten that, found my way out of the DFW Int'l Airport from the rental car area, found my way to the hotel without having printed directions, gotten my room key, gone into my room, changed into work clothes, and walked downstairs, where I came to. Talk about a time warp! That scared me pretty bad because I have no idea how I did all that as a zombie. I would have had a hard time with some of it if I was totally present mentally!

It seems as though I've heard that story before! That's fucking scary, I've been through similar situations myself. In the above-mentioned story about all the bars, I was blacked out for something like 5-7 days after that. This was when I was working at an NBC television station. I only stayed awake after taking that much because I was on massive amounts of methamphetamine. I floor directed 3 shows every day, ran live camera, and marked my director's scripts, in that state of mind. I eventually ran into a camera on-air, and that almost got me in some serious shit. Of course, all this is 2nd hand, as I remember none of it myself. I also live fairly close to Dallas, so your story hits close to home! Scary shit, and I'm glad you made it out OK. How did the rest of the business trip go?
