Cocaine Crazy

hey peeps, i recently did some cocaine for the 3rd time and for the first time ever something really odd happened. i felt the usual cocaine euphoria but THEN my whole body started going numb. i could barely drive myself home! i started feeling really numb and weak and when I reached up to check my pulse it was pretty weak. i continued to feel pretty week for around 45 minutes. has this happened to anyone else?

Well if your whole body went numb, then chances are you got some pretty good shit. But i dunno i may be wrong, its never really happened to me, but i haven't done it to much.

vasoconstriction

Your body went numb because cocaine, being a stimulant, constricts your blood vessels.

If your blood vessels being too constricted then you don't have enough blood flowing to nerve tissue--nerve tissue is what transmits sensation to your brain--hence the feeling of numbness(or lack of feeling, rather).

This does not necessarily imply that you got some quality cocaine, however. There are several factors that could have contributed to and compounded the vasoconstrictive effect of the cocaine.

Ah, missed the second part of your problem: weakness/low pulse.

Cocaine has a tendency to INCREASE B/P and pulse, not lower it. It's possible that your hands were numb and you couldn't feel your pulse as well.

Were you coming down when you started feeling weak? You mentioned you had only consumed cocaine a few times--maybe you just came down harder than you were used to.

The vasoconstriction cocaine causes lasts much longer than the recreational effects--a harsh comedown and severe vasoconstriction at the same time seems like what the problem was.

Just curious, have you ever been diagnosed with hypertension(high blood pressure)?
