It does not have any dosage info with it,thats why i Wanted to find something about them so I could at least see how much or how little cocaine is actually,in them...And I am in The United States..altho first time i ever got cocaine nasla drops,tripped me out ...lol They also sent a brown glass bottle of the cocaine drops home with me,instructions being 2 drops each nostril every one hour if/as needed..

prescribed cocaine nasal drops?
Geez, what country are u from?

cocaine is routinely used in E+T Nasal surgery in most western countries. If only you knew how much cocaine is kept + administered (legally) in most big hospitals.

Where does it come from?

Coca-cola are the only company officially allowed to import Coca leaves in to the USA. They create a coca extract for flavour (extract the cocaine which goes to medical use and shipped to other countries, you can imagine there is a significant quantity). Hence coca-cola USED to be COCA leaf extract (+cocaine) and KOLA leaf extract (+Caffeine). Now of course no cocaine.

A simple wiki:
Cocaine was historically useful as a topical anesthetic in eye and nasal surgery, although it is now predominantly used for nasal and lacrimal duct surgery. The major disadvantages of this use are cocaine's intense vasoconstrictor activity and potential for cardiovascular toxicity. Cocaine has since been largely replaced in Western medicine by synthetic local anesthetics such as benzocaine, proparacaine, lignocaine/xylocaine/lidocaine, and tetracaine though it remains available for use if specified. If vasoconstriction is desired for a procedure (as it reduces bleeding), the anesthetic is combined with a vasoconstrictor such as phenylephrine or epinephrine. In Australia it is currently prescribed for use as a local anesthetic for conditions such as mouth and lung ulcers. Some ENT specialists occasionally use cocaine within the practice when performing procedures such as nasal cauterization. In this scenario dissolved cocaine is soaked into a ball of cotton wool, which is placed in the nostril for the 10–15 minutes immediately prior to the procedure, thus performing the dual role of both numbing the area to be cauterized and also vasoconstriction. Even when used this way, some of the used cocaine may be absorbed through oral or nasal mucosa and give systemic effects.

I have come across people saying "why on earth would people like cocaine? (this was after nasal surgery) it's horrible", reason being it is often given in a combination with adrenaline : that + whatever premeds + minimal systemic absorption + pain in nose = expected reaction, even when given nasal spray afterwards if it is combined with so much adrenaline/phenylephrine it is hardly pleasant

neosynephrine = phenylephrine

cocaine is an old drug they tend to be generic or 'specials' produced by key companies for specific uses.

actually there is no Brand name or company listed on the brown glass bottle they sent me homw with it was compounded most likely there in the hospital pharmacy, i actually know apharmacist at the hospital there and a few years ago I saw bottles of brown glass with labels stating ; cocaine hydrochloride 99.99+% pure sterile white to off white crystalline powder for compounding into IV,IM,injection,ENT Solutions(ear nose and throat doctors use in nasal drops,solutions,etc) and opthamologic use (some eye surgieries altho very few use cocaine as an antestic or as an adjudant to anothe rlocal beacause of cocaines vasoconstictor properties) slows bleeding, cappillary and small vein arterial bleeding at the local level especially,which is why people often die from a cocaine overdose because it raises the blood/rate rate and pressure when taken internally(snorted,smoked,IV etc.. ) unlike when used topicly or as a local anestetic, and causes the veins and stuff to narrow(vasoconstrictor) even as it increases the blood rate and heart rate causing blood pressure to become much higher due to narrowed veins and stuff and higher pressure due to it beinf used to get high as it's Central nervous sytem stimulant causing heart rate increase,etc...deadly combo often.Methamphetamine while not recomended does not have a vasoconstricot property to it like cocaine does which is why death from a methamphetamine Od is unusual unless its from other cause,which are varied...of course..

10% cocaine HCl by mass is the traditional proportion for otolaryngological solutions.
