Cocaine and Alfuzosin - Harm Reduction Question

Hello Bluelighters. I have a question about cocaine (nasal) and the prescription medication Alfuzosin, which is an alpha blocker prescribed for prostate issues.

I've had old man problems with my prostate and bladder for about 20 years. I was just prescribed Alfuzosin today by my urologist to help with all that. I also have a fun weekend of cocaine and ketamine planned, and wanted to know if there are any interactions between these substances, and if so, about when I should stop taking the Alfuzosin.

I am having a little trouble locating information on this particular medication, so I thought I would ask the pros here. I have read that beta blockers might be dangerous to combine with stimulants but nothing about alpha blockers. Not a doctor. Just looking to party with my boyfriend without dying on him. My recreational substance use is carefully planned and spaced out, at least 6 weeks between sessions.

Also - This is a low dose Alfuzosin we're talking about here. 10mg before bed every night.

Update for anyone who may have a similar question - I have landed on abstaining from Alfuzosin 3-4 days before injesting any sort of illicit stimulant. No problems whatsoever. I have not noticed any problems with stopping and starting the medication as far as my prostate issues go.

I take Alfuzosin and Tadalfil for prostrate, in addition to Lisdexamfetamine and Dextramphetamine without any noticeable adverse reaction. Not exactly cocaine but stims just the same
