Wasn't that impressed with CFT, nice enough, but nothing to make it stand out from the crowd

^ hence perhaps the ethanol may be the boost it needs...of course the compromise is also warranted if ones cardiac integrity is an issue, otherwise not a bother

No, it didn't contain cocaethylene. Cocaethylene is a metabolic byproduct created by carboxylesterases in a process called transesterification (I think I have this right, this is really not my "thing". It takes the methyl group and turns it into an ethyl. Hence the other (easier to type) name, ethyl cocaine.
It's not a simple reaction of alcohol and cocaine, it needs the catalyst.

Neither - if you have to use a stimulant, go with methylphenidate, amphetamine... in fact anything other than cocaine (or related local anaesthetics) as in the long run you'll do yourself (mostly your cardiovascular system) much less damage. If you must use coke, I'd suggest using a short acting benzo rather than alcohol to counteract any cocaine induced anxiety
is this for heart damage? I think read something about cocaine's brain toxicity to be less permanent than amphetamine's.

does this mean that drinking alcohol while a fading cocaine high will increase it again by turning the inactive benzoylecognine to cocaethylene?
in the presence of alcohol, pseudoesterase causes the biosynth of said drug from ethanol & cocaine metabolite benzoylecognine.

The equilibrium constant between cocaine esters and bz-ecognine is too low for that to play an effect in the physiological f/x, though yes, there will be detectible levels of cocaethylene.

Wow, it suddenly makes a lot more sense that my coke tolerance increased significantly when I quit drinking.
