Hello,

Recently came across these while clearing out my cupboard, the only thing I can find out about them is that they're a painkiller which was withdrawn from the UK due to suicides ?
Does anybody have any information about these, I can't seem to get anything reliable (effects wise)
I'm guessing it's codeine and paracetamol but would it not just be called Co-Codamol then ?

CO - PROXAMOL 32.5mg/325mg

Co-proxamol is paracetamol and dextropropoxyphene. It has indeed been withdrawn as it is particularly dangerous in overdose - dextropropoxyphene can cause cardiac arrhythmias and seizures amongst other things.

Be careful - definitely don't exceed the recommended dose. I would throw them away to be honest, not much recreational value and a high risk of potentially lethal overdose, even if you did a cold water extraction due to dextropropoxyphene's toxicity.

Dunno about in the UK but anything containing dextropropoxyphene (Darcovet) has been withdrawn from the US market b/c of adverse heart problems. Honestly, the drug kinda sucks IMO, both recreationally and therapeutically.

Propoxyphene and dextroproxyphene do indeed possess some fairly substantial risks particularly to the heart. Most users don't care for them, some like them. I have never tried them, but I have heard the high regarded as "dirty". Like effie said be careful, if you do use these, and I wouldn't use much more than directed or for any real period of time.
