I have found within some buds what I previously took as left over another white stuff, smoking without much thought (getting quite high- only noticing familiar cannabis), some clumps of what looks like trichomes. Really odd. Upon closer inspection the crystals blended with those on herb, but the occurrence of these "clumps" wasn't uniform.

Considered the possibility of tampering or accidental contamination with some crystalized drug... but it felt the same as kief as I rolled it in my fingers. Like sugar crystal, but more fine- like kief.

Wish I had pictures. May run across it again. Seems like some buds have and others don't.

Anyone run across this before?

It's probably kief, especially if it's a fine, sticky powder but who knows for sure? All good bud leaves behind some kief in the container, especially if it's been knocked about on your journey. This is one of the reasons bud is cured in glass air tight Kilner or le parfait rubber sealable air tight jars aftet drying, because plastic-type materials have a nasty habit of electrostatically attracting the kief to the sides of the container which is undesirable.
