clubs in new york city?

I don't really go clubbing much but me and a few friends feel like dancing this weekend. I'm trying to figure out one or a couple that would be fun but I really know pretty much nothing about what's available, so if anyone with more experience clubbin in nyc has any advice, that'd be great!

Things I'm looking for:
- good music (electro, 80s, oldschool hip hop, etc)
- cheapish cover/drinks
- younger crowd (we're all in our early 20s)
- good atmosphere for rolling

not looking for
- bad music (shit that's on mainstream radio, cheesy tiesto-style trance, etc)
- creepy dudes constantly hitting on my friends who are female


So yeah any help is greatly appreciated.

Cheesy trance? I've seen tiesto twice and he's usually on point and plays some hard shit, although his own productions can get a bit cheesy.
