Closing Speeches.

[up all night]

This might be more of an SLR question but I wrote this yesterday and don't know whether to send it to him. I want him to know how I feel but I don't know if it's a good idea to tell him. Any suggestions would be really appreciated.
There's still so much to say
and I'm running short on time to say it.
So before you fade away and become
nothing but fond memories,
just hear me out.
Those times I said I wish I'd never met you
Were a lie.
You gave me more then love
More then hope
More then happiness.
You are my proof that life is beautiful.
I never wanted more then you could give
Despite my bitter claims.
The hateful words I said
Melt together into....nothing.
I'm sorry for being less then you expected.
I always wondered what someone like you
Saw in someone like me.
You showed me a side of life
That some people never see.
The darkest of moments overshadowed
By the light of discovering love for the first time.
We made memories.
Nothing can change that.
I love you for the things we dreamed.
Endless possibilities of perfection.
Whoever knew that happiness had so many combinations.
We so often lost our way
Dug our holes
Embraced the darkness
And created new scars
And I've only come to realise now
That was all a part of growing up.
I'm sorry for the screams and the tears and the pain.
I'm sorry for hating your silence
Because I realise your hands and eyes and lips
Were the strength I was looking for.
The perfect answer to my question.
I wish it hadn't taken two years to understand that.
I am who I am because you walked into my life.
I don't think there's anything more to be said.
Except I'm proud of what I've become
And I hope you are too.

I'm really glad you shared this with us, feelings are what create our poems here in words
I always have this saying that I believe in deeply......we are all here to fill voids in each others lifes, we just don't know what void that is until they move on, and I know the fact of someone leaving hurts us dearly, but it is what makes us stronger, to help out the weaker.

I dont think you should ever let your fear get in the way of something you want to tell someone...
"nothing hurts more than not know what might have been"
if you dont send it to him youll always wonder what might have happened if you did. even if you get hurt and things dont go how you planned at least you wont be forever kicking youself for not tryiing when you had the chance.
