I have been politely asking in reports for this thread or at least an explination as to why it was closed when i see it as a good topic on harm reduction http://www.bluelight.ru/vb/threads/586343-New-METHADONE-in-the-UK

its about a new and better methadone in certain countries in EADD areas yet there are threads that have absolutely nothing to do with HR or drugs running that dont get closed

I would like to continue the discussion of the benefits i have noticed from this new methadone with other members which could lead to a healthier life for them yet i can not because its closed


appart from some weird posts from someone who was wasted which i hold nothing against god ive made pleanty of them i dont see why it should be closed while it has beneficial things to come from it and would appreciate if it could be opened again thanks so that other methadone users may be able to report other things thy notice to be good from this new brand for me to learn from also

Your best bet is to contact the moderator that closed your thread to ask for a reason it was closed--No need to drag the admins into this.

Be patient. What time is it by you? Give it time for a moderator to see the reported post. If this were urgent I would re-open it, but it is not.

PM the moderators of the forum if you have an issue with the closing. There is no need to bring it up in here.

I'm closing this thread because from the very first post it's clear that this thread was created with the primary purpose of talking about youurself, rather than providing useful information.

I apologise for not leaving an explanation initially, but I wasn't in the best frame of mind at the time.

Still, you deserve an explanation, but bear in mind you have been warned on several occasions about creating self-serving threads.

This topic could easily have been covered (and received a better response) in one of the heroin threads. I've copied your post and moved it there if you fancy having a look.

Despite what you think, this is nothing personal, and all the mods and senior mods are in agreement about this, so no complaints please.

Smackcraft, you asked for clarification as to why this thread was closed. I've provided my explantion above, as you deserve at least that.

I stand by my decision to close the thread, however. This issue may be an important talking point or it may not. Whatever the case may be, imagine if everybody started a thread about the particular hue of the pills they scored at the weekend, or their heroin smelling of parma violets?

This is a mixed social / information forum, and social threads are provided (and encouraged). Any potentially-valuable information is best consolidated in the appropriate thread(s) rather than strewn across the board at random. Remember, lurkers outnumber active members by a long way, and they use the site for information.

So don't take it personally, and please think before starting a new thread. Okay?
