Clonodine effects

It seems to give me a sense of well being. I don?t know if that?s normal but since I?m going thru gabapentin withdrawals it?s nice to have.

Does anyone else have this.?

It can actually be a pretty strong sedative so that's why you're feeling relaxed.

Clonidine was given to me to control the withdrawals from Oxycodone. It caused my blood pressure to tanke to 71/50 and when I dropped the dose by 25%, it soared to 180/110. I had no blood pressure problems previously. Please be careful with it. I eventually stayed inpatient in the hospital to come off of Oxycodone and Clonidine safely. They put me, at my request, on a short Suboxone detox of 9 days and I jumped at 2mg.

Clonidine is nice to have. I'd be careful not to take much more than 0.4mg at once because you can fall quite suddenly and hurt youself if your blood pressure dips too low.
