clonazepam withdrawal

hi jai deep, because of my mind being a bit shattered and your writing style i'm not sure
if i have it right.but,you were on 1mg clonazepam,and now you're withdrawing?
if that's the case,i would stop this self-administered thing(if thats what it is)and talk to someone
in real life who can help you.

being on 1mg klonopin isn't the end of the world.
why are u stopping?

just to let u know,I'm on a benzo right now because i'm confused i think so don't take any of this post as "truth".
it's ok to legit be on a benzo.
if it's prescribed and it benefits you,why quit suddenly and suffer?

again,i haven't fol;lowed this thread but it's been here a while and you seem stuck.

if you don't use anything in combination like heroin or whatever, take your prescribed dose of
clonazepam and get some sleep.
sleep always helps when confused.

^He isn't self medicating. He has a prescription...
He chose to stop the drug. He will suffer a bit but he won't have to take pills everyday for the rest of his life.

hi bro.thnx for your reply.i was on libotryp which is also a benzo for 6 yrs.lst year i started my taper with the consent of a doc.my taper was goin gud slowly and steadily.from almost 1.25 cloz i came down to 0.375 i a span of 1year.but when i last tapered my dose on 1st dec stil i was doin fine but from8th dec i started getting the withdrawals.now i dont know tht r dey withdrawls or its due to something else.my symptoms are memory loss forehead very heavy confusions and more weird symptoms al in the head.i consulted my doc and he told me to increase my dose a bit and told me to take 0.5 instead of 0.375.i hv got al my reports done including mri head and all r normal.do u think i need to get any other test done and do u think that i shud come to 0.5 dose as my symptoms r not getting better .i hv still not started 0.5 dose and still on 0.375.u have also been thru this phase i guess and i need your friendly advise bro....thanks and god bless

It's your choice bro... do you wanna keep suffering from WDs to eventually stop benzos...
Or do you wanna stop suffering ? If you don't wanna suffer no more start 0.5
Good luck

I was youtubing and i came across this maybe it is relevant and or helpful to anyone.

There's a lot of great information already in this thread.

However.

Just look at relevant videos from this post, and then you will see lots of testimony, support, withdrawal updates, etc, from people going thru what you are going through.

Also.

Realize this. People may often downplay your withdrawals. This is because it is in favor of the medical profession. Take reality with a grain of salt.

Don't view your problems as designed for single mothers, or old women, or inffeminate men.

Benzos are a very serious addiction.

Much of what people understand of the substances are propaganda. But no soap box here just sayin, ive used em plenty, and its true. They are helpful to many people though. Theres just not that much good loooong term, longitudinal studies etc.

hi bro.a year back when i was on libotryp which has chlorodiopoxide and amitriptiline.i have stopped it a year back.now i am on clonaz.vn i was on 0.375 i was not at al comfortable nd weird symtoms i was having.now my doc has increased my dose to 0.5 two daz back bt stil i hv not become normal.how long vil it take for clonaz to act and for me to be normal back.chlorodiopoxide and clonaz are both benzoz.which from the both is lighter

It's hard to say how long it will take for you to feel normal again. But you've been off the libotryp for a year now and only using clonazepam right? If you don't get any improvement from this increased dosage, talk with your doctor.

bro which of the both drugs libotryp or clonazepam 0.5 is stronger...bcauz both r benzoz and also let me know how may daz does clonaz take to show its effects.do u think i shud get an mri done.i also know that i dont hv any depression but the doc says that dere are some chemicals in d brain which r missing and clonaz 0.5 i shud keep on taking

The increased clonazepam should help you to feel better. How long have you been on the .5 dose? I'm not understanding why this doctor would tell you that your brain is missing some chemicals. It is believed that some forms of depression/bi-polar conditions are the result of a brain chemistry imbalance. I wonder if that's what he was trying to say. An MRI test wouldn't be useful for that type of thing.

Was this your GP who told you this? I think it would help you to see a psychiatrist. At the very least, get a second opinion from a different physician. There's only so much we can do here and really it's speculative in nature because we're going by our own experiences which could be very different than yours.

hi.its been 5 daz i have increased my dose but i am still not very comfortable.how long does it take

Possibly my greatest regret this life has been falling so deeply into Opiate addition, that I was never really able to test out a variety of benzos. My Anxiety is killing me, physically, mentally, spiritually.... I know in my hard of hearts it's time to begin the ween off opioids, hope onto the proper benzo and try and start an adult life. But Fuck, this poly-drug-addiction is just way too much for me to handle, pussy as that sounds.

hi bro.long tym..bro i was not at al comfortable vid my clonaz taper nd it was not bearable.now my doc has increased my dose 0.25 morning and 0.5 at nyt.i am little better than before but stil not very comfortable.ven i was tapering it and when i was on dis dose before i was comfortable but now i am not that comfortable on dis dose also.bro is it safe if i be o dis dose for sm more months or shud i again try to reduce it.if i b on dis dose for sm more mnths wil it not b hard to taper it then or vil my dose increase.the withdrawals i am facing r that smtyms i feel i m fyn bt smtyms i feel that my memory is getting weak and weird things r happening.forehead very heavy nd
panic attacks.suggest me bro that do i need a rehab for this or how shal i proceed further.

If you're having these symptoms still after he increased your dose, I want to say see your doctor and tell him this. You might think you've had time to adjust but maybe it takes a little more time. Or it could be something different altogether, this is a tough one. Give it a couple more days like the weekend ok. If you're still feeling out of sorts next week, talk to your doctor and see what he says. Hope you start to feel better!
