Misc Clonazepam and modafinil

Is there any reason why these would mix especially badly or especially well?

I was going to take 2mg of clonazepam (and have a beer or two) and then 200mg of modafinil. Hoping to enjoy a nice buzz while getting some work done.

I've taken it a couple of times when I was on 5mg clonazepam daily, worked fine.

good luck catching a buzz on modafinil... but no there shouldnt be any negative interactions you should be completely fine

Modafinil's fine as a functional stimulant - though inferior, IME, to Ritalin - but there's no buzz to it at all, just a sense of clear-headedness and, at higher doses, unpleasant peripheral stimulation. I would have thought a few mgs of Clonazepam would almost completely cancel out a sane dose of modafinil, and I generaly found less to be more (50-100mgs: took 400 once in a misguided attempt to get high, and instead experienced what fekt like a speed comedown with no preceding rush). It was desgined to have low abuse potential, and while it can be addictive, I've never found it remotely recreational.
