Word. Tolerance is everything with benzos and opiates...and alcohol. I really think kpins are bad with alcohol and most benzos are because I've seen a lot of people including myself spazzing out on them and have weird side effects later down the road when the beers/bottle is gone. Just be warned.

Unless your tolerance is through the roof - at least for either of the substances concerned - I'd lower the dose. Then again, you do say you're going for a similar feeling to alcohol and Xanax; if 12 beers and 4-6mg Xanax is the feeling you're looking for, then 12 beers and 4-6mg of clonazepam is probably gonna feel similar.
Clonazepam isn't as intense as alprazolam (but lasts much longer) but is almost as strong mg per mg, so you're looking at similar doses, yeah. For non-tolerant people that would spell a blackout at the very least. Even with a tolerance I usually take very small amounts of alcohol; I'll easily take 4-6mg of clonazepam, but no way will I drink 12 beers on top of that. To me that suddenly starts feeling a lot more like 14mg clonazepam. I'll usually not exceed the 4-5 beer limit when taking benzos.

It may not be wise, but after more experience I must stick to my opinion from above. I only get 60 kpins every three months, so they never last long. I go long periods without it. But when I have it, and drink as much as 12 or so and have had the kdsoe at5 or 6. have never blacked out, but my I've just been lucky...

How would someone die from taking Klonopin and drinking? Heart failure or what? I am on .05 Kpins and it does nothing for me, I want to take like 3 at a time, but am scared.I have a huge torance for alcohol, last time I was taken to the hospital was at a 3.75 alcohol level, higher time b4 that, they say I should of been in a coma.But, I dont know if my tolorance for Klonopin will be that high, plus, want to drink with it?Dangers?

Not sure how dangerous it is but I've done it many times. Actually, for about 6 years straight everyday I would take 1mg Klonopin in the am and go to work and come home that night and drink 4-6 drinks sometimes more on the wkend.

How much of each would be required to be considered dangerous? I'm sure amounts would vary from person to person but can you od with just a few drinks or does it it take large amounts?

i know its not a safe combo but for recreational use, would about 4-6mg clonazepam with about twelve beers or so have somewhat the effect that the combo of xanax and alcohol would have?

6mg Klonopin + 12 beers might very well equal a nice plot 6 feet under the earth.

Try cuttin that in half and youd probably be safe, 3mg kpin and 6 beers....even then you run a SERIOUS fucking risk of blacking out and/or doing some dumb shit.

Actually, i would recommend like 2mg klonopin and 3 beers to start, wait 2 hours and see how u feel.

Depressents slow down breathing, sometimes to the point of death.

The way you would die from a Klonopin / Alcohol OD, is you would pass out, and start breathing really slowly, eventually not breathing at all, and then die.

They also slow your heart rate, so I'm sure if it was a severe enough OD, you'd probably go into cardiac arrest as well as stop breathing.

The danger is taking klonopin, a central nervous system (CNS) depressant, with alcohol, another CNS depressant. Taken together they can can slow your breathing to dangerous levels. The other risk is passing out and choking on your vomit, or passing out in other dangerous circumstances..

Just cos it's a common combination doesn't mean it's safe. Tolerance and personal metabolism plays a part. Even for someone accustomed to taking the combo, both benzos and alcohol can impair your judgement and you can end up taking loads more than you intended to.

I have taken 4mgs, 5mgs, 6mgs + and I never entered a 'blackout' mode really.. klonopin is like the suboxone of benzos, it last long as isn't very strong (compared to most other benzos like xanax)
