Benzos Clonazapam inducing bursts of Productivity

Well for whatever odd reason whenever I take klonopin I tend to get a fairly decent uplifting stimulation, similar to a low dosage of amphetamines. Followed by the intense urge to be very productive, albeit not able to hold trains of thought for very long haha. Which tends to make me start twenty projects and finish four. Aside from that though I've always been under the assumption that this is odd, it tends to knock others out or give them an alcohol-esque inebriation. While I'm just floatin around rearranging a room, or organizing things, or even filling out paperwork and various important things that I tend to put off for forever.

So I'm just wondering if some fellow Bluelighters experience this? Or any ideas as to why I get this rather pleasant adverse reaction? Perhaps even some tales of Benzo-Induced productivity?

Yeah, alprazolam makes me want to go out and smile at people. :D

I think the productivity caused by benzos happens, because they make you feel so good and free - and so not-cuffed-with-anxiety, that starting tasks happens with ease.

As an anxious person, benzos make me feel more normal, and the anxiety is not stopping me from functioning.

geez i wish benzos made me feel productive and outgoing..all they do for me is chill me out, make me feel relaxed..if anything they hurt my motivation..for me to be productive on them i need to take a stim along with them..

This really rings true with me. I've never considered myself to be an anxious person, but the carefree bliss of completely removing anxiety from the equation is such a night and day difference

Drugs effect everyone differently. Me personally I have anxiety (and no benzos for about 3 weeks) and I love them, but it just takes away the anxiety. I think the other guy nailed it. Once your anxiety is gone your free. Xanax tho, just kinda zombifies me, Klonopin actually makes me normal, and a little buzzed :) Temazepam is my favorite tho. Hands down the most Euphoric Benzo I've tried. Deffinedly give it a try if you ever manage to find some.

When I wanna come down from adder all and take benzos hoping it would let me sleep or crash. It keeps me up and kills the negative crash effects and makes me feel neutral and awake which makes me mad cause. I need sleep

Does the exact same to me, except valium which is generally shit. Until tolerance kicks in.

More GABA also means clearing thinking capability, it improves your functionality. Ambien is by far the most motivating euphoric benzo type drug of them all, once you get over the newbie weirdness and it doesnt make you tired, it makes you comfortable, so you can sleep or work like a machine, which ever you choose.

That was working for a while, but now trying Kratom again its by far the most productive substance to take in lower doses, even beating out amps. Recently stayed up entire nights at a time getting 3-4 days worth of shit done in one session, easy to get to sleep when ready, and woken the next day feeling perfect. I imagine lower dose opiates have a similar effect?

thats if you consider being productive also doing things properly and with your usual quality, with a clear head and no wierd super long emails to work people. Why oh why do amps always need to make you write extremely long irrelevant emails and posts for hours, ffs. With any other work task its efficiency and speed, but not communication.

On clonazepam, I've had this experience as well. However, diazepam makes me only sedated. Clonazepam seems to cause a slight amphetamine-like lift. Perhaps GABA and dopamine correspond with each other somewhere down the road. I know that phenibut's mechanism involves dopamine and GABA-B, and for me it produces a euphoric focus and motivation that rivals amphetamine.

Yeah, Valium for example can improve a negative situation like anxiety but for sure doesn't cause any additional euphoria you might hope for with a GABA drug. But even back in the day xanax for my anxiety didnt work well, even strong doses didnt improve things enough and had to stick to alcohol until i got on SSRI's. Perhaps they just dont work well for me or tolerance due to alc usage.

Phenibut is an example of a wonderful GABA drug, subtle euphoria more representative of improved mental functions, its useful, a nootropic and the mood lift is very noticeable when listening to music for some reason. But beware it intoxicates you without you feeling "drunk". Almost died twice driving on it due to typical diverted attention situations like alcohol might cause. And of course to bad about the withdrawals. Its great now and again though.

Was the worst driving danger ive been in compared to all the main drugs ive driven on. Its sneaky.

And of course ambien, great stuff. Just wish i could fix my tolerance fast.
