Cleantime/Sobriety Countdown

For me, the needle addiction has been the hardest to put down. I have 2 1/2 days clean from heroin. I also don't plan on giving up the occasional drink, but with opiates, I'm afraid the party is over!

So, congrats on the member who hasn't put a needle in for a bit! I know how hard that is!

How long have you been sober/clean?
And if your not sober/clean how long was the last time you where sober and how long ago was that? And do you want to be sober/clean

i'll start:)

not sober; 1 1/2 months ago. Was sober for a lil over a month. Wish to be clean :/

not sober; 3-4 year vicoprofen habit, every month I go up to 10 days straight sober, longest sober was 17 days, wish to be clean or atleast a functioning addict.

Yeah, 90/90 is difficult but doing them has helped me a lot. I learned consistency, commitment and discipline plus it helped me to get to know folks (and them me). Definitely made me feel like a part of the groups when doing so. Shit, folks actually like me now when I walk into the rooms.

Congratulations everyone!!! Shit ain't easy but it gets easier. Dude told me once (and it applies to me), 'Its easier to stay clean than to get clean'. Yeah... I agree

how many of you have a current length of sobriety?

I'm nick and I'm an addict. Ha. I've got 4 months clean and haven't been on here in a while and am curious how many people continue to post after deciding to get sober. Also curious if there is a sober discussion forum?

I love you blue light and i missed you

Good for you :) There are plenty of people who have been sober for quite some time who post in the dark side forum and a lot of people who you will be able to relate to :). Congratulations on the 4 months :D.

Yeah when I was sober I still posted (many do)... Good job on your sobriety but sometimes some posts on here can be quite triggering so be careful.

I've been sober from Oxycodone for almost 2 months now. Not really an addict anymore, use to be into it heavily for almost 2 years straight of daily use. Been doing good, try not to do it too often anymore.

Well I gave up the booze in July and I'm still dry but I have another vice still waiting to be dealt with!
