Cleaing pipes in Dettol (Plastic Chamber)

I started a thread about glass pipes the other day and got thinking about my metal pipe that I still like to smoke from. I wanna give it a clean tomorrow and firstly wanted to make sure Dettol was cool (Il let it soak overnight) and also wanted to ensure that I wouldnt damage the plastic chamber of my pipe by soaking it in Dettol. Below is a photo of my pipe. Will it be okay?

I'm not sure what dettol is but if it has any petroleum distillates DON"T use it on plastic. To be safe go with the soaking it in ISOPROPYL.

Yeah scrape out the residue first with q-tips soaked in Rubbing alchol and soak the piece in ISO Alcohol if you do that at all, and rinse it out with hot water and then dry it. I've cleaned out metal one hitters this way. What is Dettol?
 
Its this weird cleaning thi9ng. It has alcohol in it which is why I brought it up. My grandma used it for everything, cleaning the house and also put it into cuts and stuff.
 
dettol is an antiseptic. It would be cheaper to use isopropyl alcohol, you can get it in the chemist.
