Some things you are better off not knowing. But if you are aware of the dangers and still have to smoke go for it and don't think about possible blood taint. Anyway, maybe this information is just a scare tactic from the anti-tobacco lobby. A religious person should be more concerned about the defiling and addictive (enslaving) aspects of tobacco.

Cool, I was always thinking it'd be a great idea to add a chemical that couldbind specifically with the shit you don't want in your lungs. This is a step in the right direction.
I'm guessing the CO in smoke binds with the pigs haemoglobin (instead of ours).And probably other of the many chemicals that are absorbed by our blood.
That cig I smoke just became a bit sweeter, knowing it wasn't quite as bad as I thought. Obviously it's no where near 100% but atleast it's a start.
